I'm sure this has already been asked but is the co-op and good in this game? Me and the wife are playing through the older games on Snes at the moment but I understand you both play at the same time on this?
Yes, the side characters (Diddy, Dixie and Cranky) act as power ups to DK in solo but can be controlled by another player in co-op. Funky Kong is an alternative to Donkey Kong I believe, not sure if you can have Donkey/Funky co-op.
But ultimately yes the game is fully playable in co-op.

Maybe there's a new DKC on the way and they retroactively put DK's model from that game into the TF port.
He's had a more 3D nose since his MK8 render IIRC. His Mario Party 10 model shows him with one also:
The frontal shot in the video thumbnail I think is just the shadow or something making his nostrils look WAY bigger than they actually are.
Ah, good point. Kind of weird to see an older game retroactively upgraded to the new nose, though! Especially since his character art up in the corner next to his health seems like it was left alone.
I don't think it looks bad. Just think the circumstances are funny!

Its a mode that adds an extra heart. DCKR3D had a similar feature. The original 2 hearts is still in the game though.
Sorry if this has been asked, but has this game got any HD Rumble support? I love this specific feature of the Switch and given I've already beaten this game on my Wii U, this game having HD Rumble support will turn this into a day 1 buy rather than waiting a bit for a sale.
I don't think it has been mentioned but I'm almost certain there will be. If they have bothered to make alterations like DK idle animation, I'm sure they have implemented HD rumble.

I am just hoping that motion controls are still in the game, it's my preferred method of playing the game.
Even more reason why Donkey Kong is relatable.
