On ebay sometimes you just don't respond to offers when someone is trying to rip you offThe Problem is, Sony just refused to even come back to the table. Why not 60/40 or 65/35. Nope. Just shut it down.

This is not Sony's fault. Disney was greedy. It was bound to happen. The success leads to arrogance and eventually Sony would want to take that success and expand it accordingly to fit its needs. Sucks Spider-Man probably won't be in anymore MCU movies.
The spiderman movie franchise would be basically dead if not for Disney. I dont know about 50 50 but Disney is basically the only reason this series exists
Disney just asked for 10 times the stake they're getting now lol.
Yes.
Ah yes, "actual" Spider-Man movies like Amazing Spider-Man 2. Have fun watching garbage.Hell yeah, means i'll actually get to watch a Spider-Man movie again. The MCU can burn in hell.
I mean they did give you into the spiderverse. Besides, this looks more like a Disney fuck up.
Sony is.This has to go back into negotiation. There's no way both sides are stupid enough to leave it at that.

oh their gonna suckThere are two more films with Tom left... I hope they don't fucking suck...
Disney puts in a scam offer, and it's Sony's fault for entertaining that bullshit. On ebay sometimes you just don't respond to offers when someone is trying to rip you off
The reason the movies were good was Disney's involvement.I mean doesn't this sound like a situation that occurred because Disney got too greedy? instead of sony?
No, it means Feige isn't creative director anymore, with all the strings that come with that. Tom Holland still has movies in his contract.
The entire point of this discussion where things broke down was about them co-financing the films. The problem is that Disney wanted to split it 50-50 and Sony wanted to go 95-5.Read the OP and production deals for the Spiderman movies. This is literally a case of Disney being greedy and Sony walking away because they are literally the ones bankrolling the film.
Never watched the Amazing movie, but the Raimi films were great and I loved Venom. The MCU was lame and played out, so I'm glad Spider-man gets to go back to being his own thing.Ah yes, "actual" Spider-Man movies like Amazing Spider-Man 2. Have fun watching garbage.
