I think it was around a month for Hacker's Memory to get an English announcement which was the closest from the recent games. Cyber Sleuth and Next Order took a while to be confirmed for Western releases.Would anyone happen to know how much time there was between the jpn and eng announcements of the previous Digimon titles?
I'd say that's more Chiaki J. Konaka than Digimon though. I'd be so absurdly hyped to see him work on the franchise some more (or you know... anything).Digimon can be surprisingly adult sometimes. One of the core plot points of season 3 is one trainer has a mental breakdown after a close friend is murdered, and is subsequently captured and mindscrewed by the villian.
SRPG are my favorite type of games.
Honestly these 3 screenshots alone are making this a day 1
I don't want to be that guy but this looks like an upscaled vita game
Palmon, and yeah. Seems to be pre-rendered.is this sprite based?
The one on the right (wow I've forgotten their names) definitely looks 2D
blur is way too intense.
Tom Create did sd gundam g generation series, B.B.Studio makes robot warsMore evidence it being by the SRW team I think, since those are sprite-based also, plus the team did just bring SD Gundam G Generation Genesis to Switch which would explain why this is on Switch IMO.

Man, that key art is lovely and I'm digging the look of the game.
By far the best thing about this, yeah.
Bamco effectively dumped the vita, so it wouldn't surprise me of this was intended for it but got hit by the shiftI don't want to be that guy but this looks like an upscaled vita game
Sounds like trash. Call me when they announce a new one in the vein of Cyber Sleuth.
There seems to be elevation, but I don't think there's actually not. The screens from the scan from the other day show the similar thing too. The arena is too big as well with nothing to offer. I don't quite get it why SRPG nowadays are not getting it. Elevation and map design are important aspects.
Yeah, especially when the game has everything it needs for a cheap vita/ps4 looking game that could easily get ported to other consoles for quick money: visual novel-ish, low quality assets, etcBamco effectively dumped the vita, so it wouldn't surprise me of this was intended for it but got hit by the shift
