No idea, but that adds ammo inventory? I just want to open my inventory and know how much ammo of each type I have. Like when I craft ammo, it doesn't say how much you are making, it doesn't show me how much I have, so I'm just making something. You have to go in game and equip that weapon type to see how much ammo you actually have for that one specific weapon type.
I would like to correct myself: You can see all your ammo stocks not from 'All' in your general inventory, but from 'All' when selling to a trader having now checked in-game. Because of course that's how it works. 🤷♀️
They completely ignored the transphobia and racial stereotypes in their reply, and the request to try to understand from another perspective. They went on to tell how they don't care about meaningful commentary, and just want "cool shit" effectively.
We have the pinned thread in full view that expertly details all of this, and any question of "why the hate?" is dismissive of this inherently.
And this is the kind of shit that really pisses me off. Enjoying the game is perfectly fine, outright ignoring blatant, well document issues and the perspective of others while lumping it all in as "hate" is transparent af.
So, it's okay to blame me for not looking at things from another perspective and be not sensible (which I did in my post above), but to simply reply with "LOL" and "LAMO", right?
Well, that's the exact opposite of the stuff your writing about...

Your initial comment was laughable though, because it was a shallow statement that did nothing to counter the vast amount of legitimate criticism the game has against it.

How about post from your real account, you're not fooling anyone. Although you are a good textbook example of someone that knows exactly what they want to do and how to go about doing it.
Civil, discussing elements of the game while glossing over certain "issues" in a casual enough way so as to not come across as malicious. How can such a poster be banned ? Really, well done
Why is there controversy surrounding CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077?
CD Projekt Red has a history of transphobia. This is well documented at this point and not a matter of debate. Due to this context there is particular concern about transphobic or insensitive content in Cyberpunk 2077 itself, such as the decision to tie gender to voice in the character creator, and trans fetishization in illustrations in the game—and these are just examples from prerelease footage. Additionally, there have been concerns about racist imagery and stereotyping. This article goes into depth about some of these issues.
What incidents of transphobia have occurred surrounding the game and the company, and why are they hurtful?
This list will be updated over time as more examples come to light, especially as the game releases and more content is uncovered. If you wish to have something added to this list, please send me a DM and get my attention.
On August 20th 2018, the official Cyberpunk 2077 made a "Did you just assume their gender?!" tweet in response to another twitter user. This joke is transphobic in that it stereotypes transgender people as constantly being outraged. This stereotype is used to downplay real and valid concerns that transgender people have, and is considered extremely offensive. In response, the official account made an extremely generic apology. There was no acknowledgement of why the issue was offensive, acknowledgement of the groups that had been offended, or reassurance that this would not happen again.
On October 22nd, GOG.COM a subsidiary of CD Projket, used the #WontBeErased hashtag that was trending on Twitter, and made joke of it in order to advertise their own platform. This hashtag was in response to the Trump administration trying to redefine gender and erase the legal existence of transgender folks. While GOG did fire the person in question, said person later went on to join an alt-right website. You can read more about this incident here.
Cyberpunk 2077 itself is a dystopian first person RPG, which means there are advertisements within the game itself. One of the most controversial aspects of the game exists around the in-universe advertisement for a drink called Chromanticore. This advertisement depicts an offensive, fetishized woman, with glowing male genitalia in full view. To say there are multiple things wrong with this an understatement, but the biggest issue is that it makes a mockery of transgender folks, by portraying them as a spectacle, rather than as human beings.
Another concern with the game is the character creator, which has made the decision to tie the voice used by the player character to the pronouns selected during creation. One of the most common forms of discrimination that transgender folks face are expectations and biases regarding their voices. Additionally, by tying voice and pronouns together, they have created an uncomfortable atmosphere for non-binary and gender-fluid people, as they can no longer create a character that accurately represents them.
Why is ResetEra allowing an official thread for this game?
There has been a lot of discussion about whether there should even be an official thread for Cyberpunk 2077, and many points of view were considered for this decision. Ultimately, a thread like this can serve as a platform for minority concerns to be aired and discussed respectfully, and given appropriate attention. We've also heard from minority members, including some trans members, who have asked for a space where they can talk about the game without needing to worry about trolling and bigoted posting. We expect all posters in the thread to extend the consideration and empathy to give them that space. We will be moderating as strictly as necessary to make sure they do.
What can I do to help fight transphobia?
Transphobia exists in many aspects of our lives. From casual discrimination such as the continuous misuse of a person's preferred pronouns, to more serious ramifications such as housing being denied, legal rights being taken away, and being discriminated in the legal system. Every trans person either has experienced transphobia in their lives, or will experience transphobia at some point.
Moreover, transphobia is a systematic issue that is present in every level of our society. Politicians fight to take away our rights. Celebrities use coded language and religious justifications, if not outright hostility, in order to continue to deny our existence. Media continues to portray us as the butt of a joke, or acts like we're something to be fascinated by, rather than treated with respect.
Actions speak louder than words: Become active in your local politics, donate to transgender causes, stand up for these issues wherever they arise, and if you know transgender people in your life be there for them and support them.
Here are some pro-trans organizations around the world where you can make a donation and show your support
For those of you in the US, The Trevor Project is one of the leading LGBT organizations. They are dedicated to crisis intervention and suicide prevention for people who are in need of support, love, and care.
For those of you in the UK, Mermaids is dedicated to the support of transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse children, young adults, and their families. They have been around since 1995, and have been one of the most vocal voices speaking out against transphobia in the UK, including showing the dangers that transphobia imposes upon our youth.
If you would like to donate to CDPR's native country of Poland, you can find the Trans-Fuzja Foundation website here. The Trans-Fuzja Foundation has been around since 2008, and is dedicated to the support of transgender people in Poland in many aspects of life and society, including politics.
We are your friends. We are your family members. We're your coworkers. We're the people you meet on the street. We're the essential workers who keep society running in a pandemic. We're everywhere. We're not some sort of freak or joke, and we're not going away.
I want to give major thanks to Uzzy for lending her talent, time, and effort in putting together graphics and material for this official thread. Without her, this would not have been possible on such short notice. I would also like to give a shout out and thanks to Kyuuji for allowing me to use images and links from her own thread for this posts.

Your until claim was laughable though, because it was a shallow statement thst did nothing to counter the vast amount of legitimate criticism the game has against it.
I didn't dismiss anything. The statement was related to some non specific negative statement about the game.
But I get it, things work differently here and it seems to be okay to be offensive to others, that have a different option. Which is total nonsense, and again, in complete contrast to the things you are referring to.
I am out of here. After 3 years and now 10 posts...

Back to the game..I was so disappointed by the Voodoo boys involvement :/ even if their mission is a real highlight. So much potential for more, really wanted to see them fleshed out more, especially as they're the only Black faction
Love it when my in game choices are completely ignored:
During The Heist I paid for the Flathead using Militech's money. I removed the virus from the money and warned Maelstrom that Millitech was after them. They were thankful and I ended up fighting alongside them against Militech.
Fast forward to the late game. I went to the Maelstrom club to rescue Nancy. The Maelstrom guys at the club freak out and act as if I'd killed Royce and stole the Flathead. I had to go through a huge firefight. Complete disregard for the choices I made. This game is good but the bugs breaking important story moments keep happening to me and I'm kind of over it.
wiped out the Maelstrom dudes and saved the old leader they'd had tied up (his name eludes me right now). When I later went to the club the guys at the door made mention of me fucking up their friends but I told them they'd get the same if they kept it up and the NPC I'd untied from that closet in the earlier mission was the one running things had told them to leave me be. I went in, had a short conversation, walked out. No muss, no fuss.

Yeah huge letdown after being involved in one of the more important main missions of the game.
I walked out peacefully in the hopes that I would see them again later but nope. Just one text from Placide and they were gone from the rest of the game. Gotta kill them the next playthrough because they drop legendary gear which I didn't know about.
- Transphobia and racial sterotypes.
- Poor AI across the board
----- Terrible Police responses
----- Hilarious NPC behaviour
----- Mindless enemy interaction that makes combat on the highest difficulty a joke of a breeze
- Lack of interaction in the open world
- Choices and decisions and the RPG elements feeling like they have little impact a lot of the time
- Tonnes of glitches, bugs, and performance issues even on the best platform (PC)
- Tacked on character creation that fails utterly to explore its potential in the Cyberpunk setting
- Failure to meaningfully explore much of the social and political issues the game's world is doused in at its fundamental core
Etc...
There are many issues that precent the game from reaching the heights it could have.
Yes it has fun minute to minute gameplay.
Yes some of the side-quests and world building are industry leading good.
Yes the game can look stunning and have an incredible atmosphere.
Yes there is a lot here to find to enjoy despite the above issues.
You should also be able to "understand the hate", though, even if the issues it presents don't effect you directly as much as others, they are still real, tangible, well documented, they exist.
The two things that hurt the game the most in my eyes are the lack of interaction in the world and the lack of reaction the world has to you
Those boring blue map markers could have at least had some purpose if say like the local NPC's started thanking you, giving you shop discounts, had more shops and activities open up, etc. for clearing out the neighborhood from gamg activity. As it stands NPC's do absolutely nothing no matter how much you do or where you are on the map.
I laugh seeing restaurants and bars marked on the map, like why? They are pointless
I've never used one and my inventory stays full of food and drinks I find from combat encounters and exploring alone
I got the game for ps4 (base) but I'm not in the mood to even start the game because of all the bugs surrounding the game. Should I wait till I get the ps5 for better resolution/game play or should I start on PS4?

Wow, the tiny Makigai Maimai P126 is my new jam. I had completely neglected this little beauty until now where I bought it just because I was near by. What makes this one special for me, other than it being cute as a button, is that this car is actually fun to drive in first person perspective which isn't something I can say about the luxury cars I own in the game. You have a good view from the Maimai interior, unlike the tiny slits you look through in the Quadra and Rayfield cars. It's not a fast car, but it's cozy and great fun to drive.

Of course, dev time/effort/resources/crunch all factor in, but in theory there are so many ways this could have been improved.
I would have taken a hit to scale to increase density, personally. Saying this... the scale is one of the most impressive things about the game and a big reason why the atmosphere works so often. So there's be something lost, but I think ultimately it would be worth it (if it had to be a choice, of course).
Things like:
- Mini games on arcade machines, just something basic like breakout clones or something. A simple card game in a bar... anything...
- Bars and Restaurants giving food/drinks you have to immediately consume with fun buffs like: x% higher jump height for x minutes, or your next x magazines will 100% apply the damage type, etc... make them something fun that you might want to actively go and use often.
- NPCs from various factions simply responding to you differently: fuck with a gang too much and they become buffed against you. Maybe if you've used smart guns against them a lot they start using anti-smart implants, maybe if you hack a lot they bring in their own netrunners, maybe their time to detect you goes up, etc...
- Maybe factions could place bounties on your head, or actively hunt you down if you take it even further.
- Positive NPC things too, as simple as the faction making comments as you pass them buy, or even being non-hostile in future missions and opening up ways to resolve the mission via dialogue instead of action.
- Simply be able to sit on all the seats to take pictures or just feel like the place is more real
And so on...
The game swings wildly from feeling incredibly lived in with its atmospheric story moments 9even the small moments of flavour dotted around can achieve this) to feeling almost like a tech demo with placeholders instead of interaction.
The amount of times I have had to kill a handful of cops because they called me to a crime in progress for assistance and then get pissed when i fuckin solve the problem is TOO DAMN HIGH!!
I haven't really tried it but maybe you can replace it with another mod? Whenever I selected a mod I wanted to use on an active slot, I got a message like "Are you sure you want to replace the equipped mod" or something like that.

i have to think(hope) gang interaction was cutting room floor stuff. I was expecting levels of interaction like the guilds from elder scrolls but you get nothing like that. Imagine if you could move up the ranks in the animals if you're a brawler or in the maelstrom if you're super modded, and on and on

This is why I don't respond to cops that need help, they just end up aggro'ing you no matter what you do. Likely won;t be doing any of this until it's fixed... whenever that may happen.

Just run when "Crime reported". Nothing you can do really, straight up annoying for cops to just pop up instantly next to you which makes it tempting to kill them aswell.

I'm pretty sure a lot of this stuff was envisioned and cut. The sheer scope of the city and surrounding areas is pretty astounding, I think they bit off more than they could chew here.

100%, there's a GOTY even a GOTG in the universe where this game lives up to its potential. You put it perfectly in that I can't remember the last time I was playing through a game and enjoying it, while at the same time wondering how much better / How much more it could've been

I just saw a man harassing a women in the street. She was trying to get away from him and he was pulling her around by her arm. I pointed my gun at him and he put his hands up, and she immediately put her head down and walked quickly away.
There seems to be so many little hints at greater levels of interactivity scattered around. Like the police pursuit AI you can glitch into the game. I'm curious just how many partially made systems or random pieces of scrapped code there are littered around the game...
155 hours; every yellow and light blue markers on the map gone.
50/50
20 Reflex (20 Blades / 20 Handguns)
20 Cool (20 Stealth / 20 Cold Blood)
20 Body (6 Athletics... that skill is so slow to level when you already unlocked perks/cyberwares that make you use less/no stamina to use blades, run, evade, etc)
8 Technical (I may have opened 2 or 3 doors thanks to those points earned after 45 :P)
3 Intell
Mainly used Mantis Blades (with chemical blades and poison perks from Stealth) and Overture with silencer, sold everything else.
Replaced the Cyberdeck with the first Sandevistan found and forgot hacking for the rest of the game (but 2 side quests).
Killed everybody in the missions when not specified by fixer (but when a Street Kid dialog let you avoid combat).
Did every stealth missions without being spotted for the added €$ bonuses. Don't sleep on a modded Sandevistan for stealth:
Bought all cars but had more fun moving around with Kereznikov+Maneuvering System+Fortified Ankles.
Betrayed Panam and snitched her suicidal plan to Saul for her own good (and a nice car):
Damn was she angry in the messages she sent afterwards:
Romanced Judy until the end.
Only 2 choices at the end: Arazaka or Johnny, chose to toss the pills; sad but satisfying ending for my V's journey.
It really had Film Noir's atmosphere at times, like when roaming around at night in my car, listening to Miles Davis.
I lived one little story of that big city that's still there after everything is said and done.
The one major gripe I have atm is the normal difficulty is wayyy too easy. I am shredding people with my weapons that I have + the mantis blades and because of it, have zero incentive to strengthen my character via perks. I'm assuming hard is the way to go?

I honestly think they shipped the game before it was complete. Maybe they ran out of money.
Example, I did a quest yesterday where I had to put something in the boot of a car - but there was no animation for picking up the item or putting it down, and some NPC lines in side quest had no sound recorded.
Hope that everyone who decided to stick with the game is having a blast! I've played for about 65 hours and can't get enough of Night City, just started Act II and don't want to rush the main quest, mostly doing gigs, NCPD missions and exploring each district. Bugs and glitches aside, this game has huge potential down the road, once big patches and meaty DLC content is released. The setting has so much to offer. Hope CDPR works on cut or pending game systems, like the NCART subway transit stations, it's quite evident many sub-systems where not ready for launch. However, the hype is indeed real. Still top best seller on Steam 20 days after release and I'm fairly certain it's selling pretty well on consoles, regardless of the PSN debacle.
May 2021 bring joy and health to all crazy Choombas out there!
It's funny that you say that because the marketing budget had to have been insanely high. I was in NYC yesterday and was surprised to see multiple huge Cyberpunk billboards in Manhattan. Must've cost them a lot of money.
Omg that Panam text lol,I'm still so bummed I can't romance Judy. Really it's the future why isn't everyone pansexual and open to anything and everything, everyone .gosh
