There isn't a strong sentiment to separate, but there is a very strong sentiment for the ROC to mind its own business and not impose anything onto Quebec or try to undo the laws it passes and such. The more they try to do that, the more fuel they're going to pour onto the the separatist embers.
Is anyone other than Mulcair saying that?I don't know why people are saying Singh should resign. NDP did quite well, considering the circumstances.
You're the last person here who can claim some sort of moral ground about this. Your ignorant takes go beyond the current results of the Bloc.
Someone in this very thread said it a few minutes ago.
Yeah. NDP seemed to be on the brink of destruction but he pulled it around. I think Singh could do really well in future elections the more people see him.I don't know why people are saying Singh should resign. NDP did quite well, considering the circumstances.
Ralph (potentially) losing is the biggest loss of this election, in my view. There's not been a more capable man in government this generation.
I'm sorry but I will never defend racist policies like Bill 21. How could I call myself a lefty if I did so?
The counterargument would, I suppose, be that he was also leader when they appeared on the brink of destruction.Yeah. NDP seemed to be on the brink of destruction but he pulled it around. I think Singh could do really well in future elections the more people see him.
Premier Leageault Poison Pill
Thank God that the con voters like to aggregate together like a hive mind so their increased turnout doesn't necessarily result in seats.Still reeling that Conservatives are leading the popular vote. Tbf they're probably all from Alberta so I doubt anyone cares.

Hopefully he sticks around and manages to break the right apart in the future as time goes on.
Looks on track for that.So the conservatives have more votes but the liberals have more seats?
its the reverse USA.So the conservatives have more votes but the liberals have more seats?
Not on your life! Now that the Conservatives are the latest party to get the popular vote but not win, will they start calling for electoral reform?

You might see some individual people on the internet, but no, the Conservative leaders are smart enough to know that FPTP generally favours them and it would make no sense for them to want to be rid of it. They kind of just have to take the L on this one.Now that the Conservatives are the latest party to get the popular vote but not win, will they start calling for electoral reform?
