Kyle Griffin @kylegriffin1

The incoming House Judiciary Committee Chair.

(((Rep. Nadler))) @RepJerryNadler

Americans must have answers immediately as to the reasoning behind @realDonaldTrump removing Jeff Sessions from @TheJusticeDept. Why is the President making this change and who has authority over Special Counsel Mueller's investigation? We will be holding people accountable.

Someone calm my fears in regards to this possible scenario:

1. Sessions asked to resign (done)
2. Acting AG asks Mueller to hand over all evidence
3. Evidence destroyed by acting AG
4. A new special council is hired, the Mooch
5. Mooch says after a few days that there was no collusion
6. House tries to bring back Mueller but all evidence was destroyed by acting AG and Trump Cronies in the FBI
7. Trump gets away with it

Which part of this is not possible?

In addition to being a blatant act of obstruction, Trump just created a HUGE headache for the 22 Republican Senators whose seats are on the line in 2020 now.

A blessing in disguise?

The 2020 Campaign Season kicked off today and Trump christened it with a huge bomb to his own party.

6.
It's 2018. How exactly do you destroy all the evidence when all the evidence can fit on a flash drive or SD card?

Trump firing Mueller would be a bad move for him. Pelosi and co would just hire him back in January and now Trump wouldn't be able to do shit about it.

6) to do so would put the AG and any accomplices at risk of being jailed for obstruction of justice and violate certain regulations for the FOIA.

Look forward to seeing Sessions as a contributor on Fox News next week, where he'll sound vaguely concerned about Trump shitcanning him but won't say anything of substance.

Reminder that Rosenstein is irrelevant and no longer oversees Mueller now. The new AG, who appears to be a Trump stooge, can now impede Mueller and deprive his investigation of funding.

You don't need to fire Mueller if you can just starve him of resources.

Mueller probably has CDs,Flash Drives and Hardcopies of all his evidence and findings locked in a safe in Adam Schiff's office.

Coward.

Also I doubt they fire Mueller -- the optics are too bad. They will likely be a gigantic pain in the ass and deny funding and such.
When have optics mattered to this regime or their base? Serious question. They get away with sketchy shit all the time and no one on their side cares.

They will fire him probably by Monday at the latest and he'll be rehired in January. This is pretty much fact.

Trump isnt that smart.
This is all about being a spiteful piece of shit.
All indications are that Mueller's investigation is winding down. Not sure how many "chess moves" there are left for Donnie to make. Y'all give Trump too much credit. He's not some evil genius. He's a legitimately stupid person who has failed his way upward through life because he's rich and white.
You have a lot more faith in that man's intelligence than most.
Trump is an idiot no doubt. But the moves being played today show me hes more self aware than ever. Even down to how he stifled jim acosta at the podium. He wasnt his usual self today. I would say scared, but stern.

He doesnt have many chess moves to make. But these are definitely moves. And every bit of it worries me because if theres one thing trump has been doing all his life is getting away with shit. I hope mueller has the goods and a plan.

I know I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but why would anyone give up a safe, powerful Senate for what you knew would be a 18-14 month spell as a second fiddle AG to a narcissist?
