Remember who you're talking about.3 is literally treason. You have to be a complete moron to do it.
Edit: oh, so Trump fired Sessions then? Btw, why is Trump appointing someone? I thought the Deputy AG would step in
Mueller probably has CDs,Flash Drives and Hardcopies of all his evidence and findings locked in a safe in Adam Schiff's office.
Have you seen who's in power?3 is literally treason. You have to be a complete moron to do it.
Someone calm my fears in regards to this possible scenario:
1. Sessions asked to resign (done)
2. Acting AG asks Mueller to hand over all evidence
3. Evidence destroyed by acting AG
4. A new special council is hired, the Mooch
5. Mooch says after a few days that there was no collusion
6. House tries to bring back Mueller but all evidence was destroyed by acting AG and Trump Cronies in the FBI
7. Trump gets away with it
Which part of this is not possible?
What
And that's why you have to be even bigger moron. You will be literally counting on Trump pardoning you (and that's best case scenario)
To say nothing of all the court filings that have already been made. There is no way Mueller doesn't have this all backed up somewhere.
Well ain't that some fucking bullshit.Because Sessions technically "resigned" Trump can name a temporary replacement under the Vacancies Act. This allows him to circumvent both normal succession and Senate confirmation.
Welp that'll do.
Might take time, but unless the house can step in, It'll be a petty quick process, considering.Doesn't Whittaker have to be confirmed? Won't that take some time?
Compromising the investigation is a lot worse than firing Mueller.
Seems like there are conflicting reports on what the power of an Acting AG actually is. So maybe nothing. Any constitutional scholars on here?So doesn't this take Rosie out of the equation since he's no longer overseeing Mueller?
Trump firing Mueller would be a bad move for him. Pelosi and co would just hire him back in January and now Trump wouldn't be able to do shit about it.

Rod is out, but Mueller can continue work then? Goddamn we need this two months to fly by

I have full confidence in Lindsey to keep his word and do the right thingRemember when a whole bunch of GOP senators said if Trump fucked with Sessions, that'd be a red line?
I bet they're gonna make a statement any minute now...
