True but GA also hasn't gone blue in nearly 30 years. Things can change

It almost went blue at the statehouse with Abrams which was only 2 years ago. Again that was a terrible election for R and they still didn't win.

This election is a referendum on Trump less so on the rest which is why the democrats lost seats in the house and are hoping for a tie in the senate. With Trump gone, the motivation is lost. That combined with a lack of a third party spoiler (consistently 1 - 2% for libertarian candidates) and the incredible step down in turnout will make this an incredibly uphill climb.

Convincing a diverse young coalition to show up in the middle of winter to vote for a tie isn't the easiest sale when their main focus was getting Trump out. Purdue is up 110k votes so the race isn't as close as it seems when you factor in the lower turnout.

I kinda believe that no state really wants to be the tipping point this year. lol

We don't mind here in PA. I'm sure Wolf would love to announce a Biden win. It's just going to take time to do it right. Philly isn't set up for pandemic mail-in voting and the Republican legislator fucked us by not even letting them open and prep the ballots for counting until election day.

So what about that slide Biden's team showed earlier where they had a Check next to AZ and said "Biden won" Is this a "Trump thing" or do they know something CNN/etc do not?

This is excruciatingly slow, waiting for the final result of this election has been an experience.

can we please stop with the AZ panic posts. Peeps are panicing over what COULD happen despite many credible and logical things assuring otherwise.

STAAAAAHP
Exactly, no one has pulled their projection from AZ. Biden team says, like others, they expect AZ to first tighten then widen. Biden will absolutely win AZ. No need to fret off every drop- they know the electorate in the different counties and the types of ratios to expect with almost exact precision....

Why do I get the feeling that once one state dumps votes to call the race the others will quickly follow suite.

Today's Updates
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Updates:

Joe Biden overtakes President Trump in the vote count in Pennsylvania and Georgia. The presidency hinges on the outcome in key battleground states.
An #APFactCheck reviews claims made by President Trump at the White House on Thursday about vote counting
Republican Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania says he saw no evidence to support President Trump's claim that Democrats are trying to "steal" the election and called the president's words "very disturbing."
Trump has signaled to allies that the Secret Service will have to drag him from the White House kicking and screaming
via NYT: "Biden had planned to address the nation tonight, but there are indications he may well not do so until the race is called. Things are fluid here in Wilmington!"
Judicial Watch's Tom Fitton calls for states "to appoint a clean slate of electors that supports President Trump" to overturn the popular vote
Karl Rove is on Fox, urging patience. "By Monday or Tuesday, all of these ballots will have been counted," he says.
Sources close to the White House say some officials are beginning to quietly back away from Trump.
Why CNN hasn't called the election yet
Trump unhappy with legal team's lack of major impact on election count
Trump is starting to acknowledge to advisers he may not be able to pull out a come from behind victory, source close to WH tells us. Source described Trump as sounding more "realistic" as returns show Biden's leads increasing. Doesn't mean he's given up, source adds.
Source went on to say picture is becoming clear to Trump team that without wins in GA and AZ, it would be difficult to mount legal challenges in PA. Courts will not want to hear challenges if Trump lacks viable path to 270 EV's, source said. What would be the point, source said.
NEW: @JoeBiden is planning to address the nation tonight in Delaware about his growing lead — even if news outlets have yet to project him the winner.
We've been talking about this for months, but has to be stressed again: Trump and Republican legislators in PA *intentionally* engineered the current drawn-out process SO THAT there would be an opportunity sow doubt and confusion and undermine the vote.
The U.S. Office of Special Counsel opened an investigation into allegations that the Trump campaign's use of the White House as an Election Day command center violated federal law
NEW: Even if there's no race call tonight, Joe Biden will still speak tonight, in similar terms to what he said yesterday, not declaring victory but stressing his lead and how close he is to winning, a campaign officials says.
Trump's mood, an adviser said, is "black." He has spent the last few days seething over the vote count as it increasingly moves in Biden's favor.
Laura Ingraham now saying, "If there is no path for Donald Trump's second term, it doesn't mean the end of the America First movement." It's clear now that Fox prime time has gotten the memo.
BREAKING: Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, has the coronavirus. Meadows informed a close circle of advisers after the election.
Mark Meadows, who has tested positive for COVID-19, was in the White House Residence on election night huddled around Donald Trump alongside Ivanka, Jared, Don Jr., and other family members and senior staffers.
Both Meadows and a top aide to Meadows have the virus
Worth noting that Mark Meadows was at the election night party at the White House Tuesday that hundreds of people attended. Officials said everyone would be tested beforehand.
NEW: I'm told that Mark Meadows and the White House went to great lengths to keep his diagnosis a secret. This is despite alleged contact tracing efforts. My source says: "It's fucked up."
NEWS: Along with Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, at least FOUR other White House aides currently have coronavirus, per sources. Pains were taken to keep Meadows' illness a secret, I'm told. And people around him who knew were told to keep quiet.
As far as we know, there will be no more updates regarding ballot counts etc until tomorrow, no earlier than 12PM.

Pennsylvania Updates:
NBC's Pete Williams reports the Supreme Court has issued an order in the Pennsylvania case, but it's not what Republicans wanted. Justice Alito repeats the guidance that post-Tuesday mail ballots must be segregated, but it doesn't direct them to stop counting.
New: updated Allegheny Co. totals push Biden's lead to 19.3% and climbing w/ 680k ballots counted there. In 2016, Clinton won Allegheny by 16.4% w/ 658k ballots cast. The only part of PA where Biden is on track for a meaningful decline from Clinton's '16 margin is Philadelphia.
The @AP has not declared a winner in the battleground state of Pennsylvania because there are tens of thousands of votes left to count in the contest between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden.
New: Allegheny Co., PA latest count adds 5,425 votes to Biden's margin, pushing his statewide margin over 27k.

Nevada Updates:
That leaves 60K provisional ballots from Clark, which are about even right now -- Dems have a slight edge. Let's say they all count -- they won't, but we are in Trump fantasyland here. Trump would have to win those Clark provisionals by more than 2-to-1 to win! In a Dem county!
So it would take giving Trump miracle scenarios in both sets of ballots that go against established patterns for him to win Nevada. It. Is. Over.
BREAKING: Nevada Federal Court REJECTS Republican lawsuit to halt Nevada vote counting or alter rules for signature matching or observation!
Biden lead in NV has now gone up to 22,657
Joe Gloria, the Clark County, NV Registrar of Voters, said he was hoping to have a final count on the majority of mail ballots by Sunday. "We're going to continue to count and make sure we're being accurate," he said.

Arizona Updates:
The ballots in from AZ tonight aren't looking great for Trump. Biden just led Yuma's update, where Trump led the count so far. It's the first post-election ballot dump where he's outran the tabulated vote count, at least that I remember. If that holds in the Maricopa wave...
WHAT TO EXPECT Maricopa County AZ's plan for vote results, per @JoshSandersTV: 7 PM TONIGHT: About 70k of remaining 142k ballots. SATURDAY: 2 planned updates. Hope to count bulk of remaining 72k ballots. ALSO 16K provisionals to process & 5K early ballots to verify.
Here's where the vote stands in Arizona's Maricopa County.
Three Big Reasons Why Biden Is Expected To Win Arizona
New Maricopa Co. ballots (70k update) go 55%-44% Trump, but that's not the pace he needs to make up the 29k gap in AZ.
New votes from Arizona: NBC's @SteveKornacki reports that Trump has cut into Biden's lead in Arizona, but he did not hit the threshold likely needed to erase Biden's lead when all the votes are counted. Kornacki says it's good news for the Biden campaign.

Georgia Updates:
There are just more than 4,000 votes left to count in Georgia
Both of Georgia's Senate races are now expected to head to a runoff election in January — with control of the Senate majority potentially at stake.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said that the state will conduct a recount given the razor-thin margin between former Joe Biden and President Trump. "We are literally looking at a margin of less than, you know, a large high school," he said.
Update from Gwinnett County, Georgia. There are only 3 military/overseas ballots left to be counted there. 1,010 were included in the 6,000+ votes reported earlier this evening.535 cured ballots from today + 965 provisional ballots are under adjudication now.

North Carolina Updates:

Yesterday's Updates: More Delays than Cyberpunk 2077 Edition

Trump tweets " I easily WIN the Presidency of the United States with LEGAL VOTES CAST. The OBSERVERS were not allowed, in any way, shape, or form, to do their job and therefore, votes accepted during this period must be determined to be ILLEGAL VOTES. U.S. Supreme Court should decide!"
Washington Post reports the Secret Service is sending reinforcements to Wilmington this morning to increase protection of Joe Biden amidst the possibility he may declared the winner of the election and deliver a major speech as early as Friday.
To break the fourth wall a bit here, the timing is sort of uncertain and awkward in terms of when (and I do think it's more a "when" than an "if") to expect an election call. Could happen in 20 minuets! Could happen at 3pm tomorrow!
Nate Silver HAS SEEN ENOUGH!
CBS News has learned that President Trump does not plan to concede even if Joe Biden declares victory in the coming days
Anderson Cooper "The President is like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun realizing his time is over"
Click here to watch Trump meltdown over mail in ballots which then proceeds to have news networks absolutely dismantle the fuck out of him LMAO
I'm told that President Trump can't get his messaging straight on counting the votes because he doesn't understand what "stop the count" means. On a call this morning, an adviser had to explain to him that if they stopped counting votes right now, he would lose the election.
On Fox News, Bret Baier just said "we have not seen hard evidence" of any election fraud. Wow. Fox totally divorcing from Trump.
Trump & his aides want to move ahead w/firing a few top officials like Esper and Wray and signing a slew of executive orders to make Trump look as presidential as possible, as his campaign disputes ballots and Biden kicks up his transition team.
The president is now speaking at 6:30 pm, per updated schedule
Trump campaign legal adviser: "We're waiting for the United States Supreme Court - of which the President has nominated three justices - to step in and do something. And hopefully Amy Coney Barrett will come through"
The Trump Campaign announced it will hold a press conference at the Georgia GOP Party Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia with Donald J. Trump Jr, Rep. Doug Collins (GA-09), Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones, and Georgia Republican National Committeewoman Ginger Howard at 6:00 pm EST.
WHITE HOUSE: Trump has not been seen in public in nearly 48 hours
WHITE HOUSE: Trump wants to speak in public. His advisors are trying to stop him from speaking.
Hard to overstate how angry Trump's advisers are at Fox right now. Just incandescent.
"For them, this is just a waiting game at this point — it's not a question of if, but when," @marykbruce reports, as the Biden campaign says they expect to win the 2020 election once votes are counted.
Trumpworld very anxious right now about the prospect of Fox calling Pa. tonight.
JUST IN: Joe Biden planning to deliver statement to the pool soon in Wilmington, Delaware, the campaign says.
Facebook has removed a pro-Trump group filled with false claims and conspiracy theories about voter fraud after it surged to more than 360,000 members.
Long at odds with Trump, Defense Secretary Esper has prepared a resignation letter, say officials
Huge Twitter thread of a verified user predicting almost everything for the Election.
Chris Wallace: "I did check in with our decision desk earlier today & they're not wavering -- they say that our call on Arizona is right, which puts him at 264. And if Biden wins any of the 3 states [NV, GA, or PA] ... he goes over the top."
It begins —> "Trump will run for presidency again if he loses, says former chief of staff"
Trump is in the Oval Office this afternoon, a WH official confirms.
A federal judge in MINNESOTA shoots down a Republican bid to toss valid but late-arriving mail ballots It looks like the GOP plaintiffs just kind of gave up, most likely because Biden's projected win in MN puts the state outside the "margin of litigation"
A Michigan Court of Claims judge has ruled against a lawsuit filed by President Trump's campaign over the handling of mail ballot counting. The judge said Trump's campaign failed to make its case and that it's too late to grant the remedy requested.
Biden campaign says they will win Arizona, Pennsylvania and Nevada
"Some aides and advisers are starting to talk about the potential not only for Trump to lose this election but also that he may mount some sort of resurrection run in 2024. This is an indication they feel they're running out of time."
Someone remixed the dumbass Prayer Speech from the Trump Campaign and turned it into a victory celebration for Biden. This shit is hilarious and you guys deserve a laugh so if you need something to relieve your stress click here.
Trump campaign statement in all CAPS from the president
The Trump campaign has released a statement criticizing the Fox News official who called Arizona for Biden
" Be patient, folks. Votes are being counted, and we feel good about where we are. " - Biden
This isn't that important but this man gave a beautiful speech that I think deserves to get some recognition

Regarding AZ
-------------------------
"A big part of our jobs is working to help ensure the integrity of the elections and maintaining the public's trust in that. And when people like the president undermine that, it undermines this entire democratic institution." - Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs
Decision Desk HQ Projects Kelly (D) Has Won Election To The Senate From The State Of AZ Race Called At 11-05 10:35 PM EST
Breaking: Pinal Co. cuts Biden's AZ lead to 65k.
AZ ballots left. All counties are official estimates. Today's tabulations removed
Fox called Arizona early. Now, with Nevada poised to fill out the 270, Fox is reporting the vote count there at 75%. All others say 89%. Slow rolling, so it won't have to call election for Biden?
They expect to see more rural and pro-Trump votes closing margins, but that will change with more pro-Dem votes later in the day. Asking everyone to remain calm and patient.

------------------------
Regarding PA
------------------------
BREAKING—Trump's PA vote lead now down to 18,224.
PENNSYLVANIA UPDATE 29: It's late and I'm calling it a night. But I'll leave you with this: all day long, @JoeBiden has been cutting into the President's lead in PA. When we wake up tomorrow morning, Joe will be on top.
With 175,880 votes left to be counted in PA, Biden would need just 57% to pull ahead. Very likely. Biden has been winning 78% If he maintains 78%, Biden would win PA by about 76,000 votes
New vote count in Pennsylvania drops Trump's lead in the state to 22,576 votes
SteveKornacki is estimating Biden passes Trump in Pennsylvania around 1-3 am ET
PA: Drop of 13,733. Biden took 87% (!!!). Lead of 26,314 for Trump.
Update: Biden's margin in Bucks Co., PA just jumped to 3.3%. Clinton won it by just 0.8% in 2016.
Trump's lead in Pennsylvania down to 42k
Monroe Co., PA in the Poconos region just flipped to Biden w/ more mail ballots counted. Biden is now ahead there by 6.0% w/ 80k ballots counted. In 2016, Clinton won Monroe by just 0.7% w/ 70k ballots cast. Another huge swing to Biden in northeastern PA.
BREAKING Trump's lead in Pennsylvania now under 50k
Joe Biden gained about 10,000 votes on Trump in PA WHILE the president was speaking.
NBC's @mikememoli reports that an elected Democrat in Pennsylvania who has been speaking with the Biden team got this guidance from the Biden team: 'Get ready to celebrate.'
Now that Trump's PA lead is down to 75k, it's possible there are enough remaining ballots in Delaware, Lehigh, Bucks and Berks counties to erase that entire margin - even before more Philadelphia ballots are counted.
With Trump's lead under 80k votes, we're now at the point where the Philadelphia absentees alone will close basically all of the rest of the gap and potentially all of it, depending on exactly how many are left to be counted
Biden's going to get like 85% of the remaining absentees. Also, there are going to be *a lot* of *very* Democratic provisional ballots. We're very lucky that we're not going to have to wait for them, in all likelihood
The pattern of Biden over-performance over Clinton in the completed PA counties tells you a lot about what you need to know about where this is heading
Trump's lead in Pennsylvania down to 78k
After all of Dems' fretting in the final week, there is still a possibility Biden could win Pennsylvania by a larger margin than Michigan or Wisconsin.
There you have it: PA SOS Boockvar says "very few" provisional ballots have been counted so far and she doesn't have a firm count and won't speculate. There was always likely to be an unusually large number of these ballots b/c of 2020's circumstances.
I'm told by somebody at Fox that they *will* call the presidency for Biden if PA tips his way tonight. Sec/State there is holding a briefing at 5:15.
BREAKING: Lehigh County, PA just flipped to Biden. It was red since Tuesday.
Biden is also on pace for a large lead (likely 15k+ votes) when mail ballots are counted in Lehigh Co. (Allentown). Clinton carried it by 7k votes in 2016.
It does appear Biden is on track to take the lead soon in Erie Co., the ultimate PA bellwether.
DEVELOPING: President Trump's lead in Pennsylvania is now less than 100,000 votes
PENNSYLVANIA SENATOR BOB CASEY: "Joe Biden will win Pennsylvania by a 100,000 votes"
BREAKING: Republicans have withdrawn a PENNSYLVANIA lawsuit seeking to toss mail ballots that initially contained errors but were later fixed (or "cured," in legal jargon)
CNN HEADLINE: Biden on brink of win; waiting for PA
Senator Casey says right now on CNN that Biden will win Pennsylvania today
For Trump to win Pennsylvania, the Secretary of State would have to be very, very wrong about how many mail ballots aren't included in the current results tally
Pennsylvania Secretary of State says "we definitely could" know the winner of the battleground state today.
PA Dems update, say Biden will win state by about 175K and link to their data below
Statement from Philadelphia City Commissioner spokesman Kevin Feeley: "The count has resumed. There was a brief pause in light of the ongoing litigation, but it has resumed in accordance with the law."
Timing of results: The remaining mail ballots are expected to favor Democrats. Officials have said they expect most votes will be counted by Friday, Nov. 6.
BREAKING: The PA Supreme Court has overruled the Commonwealth Court ruling favoring the Trump campaign on watching the mail in ballot count in Philadelphia.

---------------------
Regarding NV:
---------------------
No more results are expected to be reported out of Nevada tonight, the AP reports
One of the reasons no one has officially called Nevada is the volume of ballots still out there. It's about 140,000, with almost 90 percent in Clark. But 90 percent in Clark makes it worse for Trump. Those votes are going to help Dems.
If 90% of the ballots are from Clark County, there's no reason not to call Nevada.
JUST IN: Nevada's Secretary of State says there are approximately 190,150 ballots left to count, 90% of which are from heavily-Democratic Clark County
Nevada will not complete processing all of its ballots until November 12, but hopes to go through the bulk of remaining ballots by this Saturday or Sunday, Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria says
Nevada's Clark County registrar Joe Gloria says at news conference just now they won't complete ballot count until November 12 and that only instance of voter fraud was a Trump supporter who tried to vote twice.
Nevada getting called for Biden would put Fox News in a very awkward spot -- it will either become the first cable news network to call the election for Biden (the irony!), or have to retract its call of Arizona (embarrassing!)
Biden is up by 11.4K right now in NV. Dems are going to win these mail ballots coming in from Election Day and yesterday -- 63K. And they should win them decisively. That leaves 60K provisionals, which have been evenly split. I see no path left for Trump here.
Washoe only has few thousand provisionals left -- should be a wash. Few thousand rural votes left -- Biden will lose 2k max there, probably less. That leaves Clark and tens of thousands of mail and provisionals. Little chance Dems lose there.
Trump will get some votes from a red county but it's small numbers compared to what Biden should get from Clark county
The Trump campaign is filing a federal lawsuit in Las Vegas Thursday. They claim they have evidence that people who are deceased and non-residents have cast ballots in the 2020 election. - KSAZ The Trump campaign is filing a federal lawsuit in Las Vegas Thursday. They claim they have evidence that people who are deceased and non-residents have cast ballots in the 2020 election. - KSAZ
BREAKING: @jacobsoboroff demands evidence from Ric Grenell, Trump adviser and former acting director of national intelligence, to back up his assertions about votes in Nevada.
Nye in, reduces Biden lead by only 300 votes. Biden up 11.4K.
Additionally, Clark County (Las Vegas) appears to hold a disproportionate share of what's left. That would be good news for Biden, even if the remaining vote methods (late mail, provisional) weren't likely to his advantage
Biden wins the new votes in Nevada by 14 points, and there's still more late mail and provisionals left. I don't know if anyone will call it on this basis, as it's still fairly close and there's no *hard* data on what's out. But you can still pencil this into the Biden column
So if Washoe and rurals are about exhausted (or will be soon) and Dem-friendly Clark has tens of thousands of ballots left, this is a very ominous first half-hour for Team Trump.
Washoe posted, Biden up by nearly 12K.
UPDATE: Vote count from Nevada sees an increase to Biden's lead, as of 12:15 p.m. ET Thursday: Biden: 597,703 Trump: 585,912
So far we've gotten 16,291 new votes in today: - 14,285 from Clark - 995 from Elko - 1,011 from Lyon
Rural Elko comes in -- helps Trump by 300 votes or so. Biden by 11,500.
Only about 14K votes or so updated from Clark and Biden lead goes up by almost 5K. See the advantage Dems have with mail. If that is ratio for ballots in Clark, very bad news for Trump.
Coming in fast, everyone. Mineral County, in rural Nevada, posted 1,011 votes. Joe Biden now has a 0.95 percentage point margin over Donald Trump in Nevada. - Joe Biden: 49.47% (598,003) - Donald Trump: 48.52% (586,545)
NEWS: First batch of new votes from NV, from Clark, shows Biden lead up to 12K.

------------------------
Regarding GA:
--------------------

Donald Trump's lead in Georgia falls to 665 votes. Clayton County reported roughly 800 ballots, which broke for Biden by a (narrower-than-usual!) margin of 75%. Roughly 2,850 ballots left in Clayton.
GA: Biden wins 87% of 806. Nets 602. Trump margin now only 665 votes.
Trump's lead in Georgia down to 1,267: Trump 2,448,081 49.39% Biden 2,446,814 49.37% 4,956,240 votes counted
Biden is now fewer than 1,000 votes away from #ObeseTurtle in GA!!
GA: Biden just netted 230 votes in Clayton. Trump lead down to 1,479. Of these votes, Biden netted 93%
We won't know official statewide numbers in Georgia until the morning. Georgia's Secretary of State will not update again tonight. At last update, the state still had 14,097 votes left to count. Remember Clayton is the only county actively counting right now.
Clayton Co. Georgia STILL COUNTING right now. No huge update in numbers...yet
The Georgia Secretary of State website is not updating again, just like last night. It is possible the Clayton numbers have been uploaded and the person who updates the website went home for the night. Seriously.
GA: A few ballots came in. 138. Biden took 85%. Trump lead down to 1,709. Stage set for Clayton.
Georgia Sec of State: 14,097 votes left to count. Trump leads Biden by 1,775
Uber-red Forsyth reported a fairly small batch of ballots (300 votes, though that's out of 2,000 that were left)... & they broke Biden about 2 to 1. (Mail really is what Democrats chose to use.) Where can Trump net votes to offset Clayton?!
Trump's lead in GA now down to less than 1,800 votes. There's no realistic way 5.7k more Clayton Co. ballots *wouldn't* put Biden ahead, and they'd probably put him ahead by more than 2k.
GA Update: A batch of 1,011 votes just came in. 79% to Biden. Trump's edge drops to 1,902. He netted 595 votes.
Biden might overtake Trump's current 2,500-vote margin in #Georgia with a 5,726 batch from Clayton County that's coming at midnight. He just won a smaller batch from there 1,154 to 165. (No, that's not a typo.)
The story of this hour is that Trump did not get the margin he needed in this batch of Maricopa County (AZ) ballots, whereas Biden got more than the margin he needed in this batch of Clayton County (GA) & in various Pennsylania counties.
BREAKING there are approximately 16,105 ballots still outstanding in Georgia, according to Sec of State as of 8:40 p.m. Trump leads Biden by 3,486 votes
BREAKING: Trump's lead in Georgia down to 2.5k
In Georgia, Trump and Biden are now separated by one-tenth of a percentage point: 49.4% to 49.3%.
A federal judge in Pennsylvania has DENIED the Trump Campaign's motion to stop the Philadelphia County Board of Elections from counting ballots. This is the Trump campaign's THIRD loss of the day (after Michigan and Georgia).
Folks, Biden just managed to net votes out of mail-in ballots in *Forsyth*, which is a massively red county that Trump is winning by 34% overall. It's also Georgia's red county with the biggest number of ballots left. And yet Biden won this batch by 5%. Mail is very blue indeed.
Trump lead DOWN TO 3K.
Officials in Georgia say they will not have a final count Thursday. More than 47,000 outstanding mail ballots still need to be counted as of this afternoon, the state secretary of state's office said.
Trump's lead in Georgia now under 10,000 votes, mainly after mail-in ballots from Fulton. Clayton and Chatham absentees alone ought to cover the rest of the difference. Yeah, then we get to the extraneous stuff. Overseas ballot v. provisionals v. the scattered missing stuff across the state. If the SOS is right, there's quite a bit of absentee elsewher
The Perdue/Ossoff Georgia Senate race will go to a runoff
GA - 6,313 votes added to the count. Biden takes 75%. About 39,000 votes remaining, Biden needs about 62% of those votes to erase Trump's 9,525 vote lead.
Something big and very Democratic just came in. Lead's down to 9,500 votes.
Another whopping 14 votes reported in Georgia. Averaging about 1 vote counted every 2 minutes now. They are truly drawing this out. Whatever it takes to get it right... though last night they suggested it would be "Thursday morning". Someone should have asked which Thursday...
Biden is now only 12,765 behind in Georgia
Harris County, GA just dropped their mail ballots. This was Trump's last favorable county with a significant number of mail votes outstanding. I estimated Trump winning them by 525. I was wrong. Results: Biden - 1,808 (50.4%) Trump - 1,738 (48.4%)
Georgia still has 47,277 ballots remaining to be counted, according to an official with the secretary of state's office.
GEORGIA UPDATE—BIDEN GAINING ON TRUMP'S LEAD: Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger holds a news conference to provide updates on the general election.
New vote count from Georgia drops Trump's lead in the state to less than 13,000 votes.
GEORGIA: Trump lead has collapsed from 370K to just 15K
A judge in Georgia has dismissed a lawsuit by the state Republican Party and the Trump campaign that asked him to ensure a coastal county was following state laws on processing absentee ballots
Trump leads by 13,540 votes 50,401 uncounted ballots in Georgia Biden must win the remaining ballots about 63% - 37% to close the gap. | Small note: Biden has been winning votes 75-25 in GA as of last night. This is legitimately possible, Biden CAN pull the upset.
The outstanding absentee ballots remaining in Georgia are mostly in blue counties.
BREAKING: Georgia Senator David Perdue (R-Inc) has now fallen below the 50% mark. With outstanding ballots to be counted coming from primarily Democratic-leaning precincts, it is likely that Georgia will have two runoff races for U.S. Senate.

Regarding NC:

Increasingly professional/suburban Cumberland was always poised to be a big "surge zone" for Biden, and it just delivered big-time.

Wait, did I mishear CNN saying that the latest NV drop came from a county that Trump is carrying 79% and still went Biden?

The most eye raising part of that video is when the woman says Obama is a Muslim-and MCCain is like "oh no he's not a Muslim-he's a GOOD man."
That's not how the video goes, though. He doesn't say 'he's not a Muslim' - he clearly can tell the woman is going down a questionable path and he cuts her of and just says Obama is a good man.

McCain ain't the greatest but a clarification is important here, I feel.

Okay, I need a break. I'm going to wait until the evening to see where we're at, and assume the election will be legit called at some point tomorrow.

A bit late but I wanted to give a shout out to the Libertarians in Wisconsin.

Biden won by 20,000 votes and the Libertarian candidate received 38,000 votes.
