How good are the Dem senatator's chances in a run-off though? Hope isn't lost, but I'm not super confident that they'd win either...

Hell yeah! I'm not getting my hopes up too much but God damn would it be amazing if we took a majority in the senate.
As far as I can tell, even if both win their run-offs, at best you'll have a tie.

Even if we don't pull off Biden, I need some people to start dropping mad respect for us Georgians in this senate race.

Yeah, I imagine they are going to wait awhile to call PA, maybe even tomorrow. The way so many waited to call both WI and MI when both races were clearly over makes me think they'll do the same for PA even if the results become obvious.

Still not great but better than they would be if Trump was also on the ballot. Since the VP breaks ties it'll be a Dem senate and Mitch can get fucked.

I know some of you guys are relaxed but Im not. I cant help but imagine the worst even though I've seen all the posts from Dave Wasserman and Nate Cohn and the other guys. I hope it works out.

When are we hearing about Nevada.

Everyone must keep in mind that EVEN if PA finishes tomorrow, the possibility of Biden finally passing Trump numbers in PA today is very HIGH.

TBH, probably not great. Historically runoffs haven't been great for dems. BUT, given how high profile those will be (fate of the Senate) and potentially discouraged Magats, there is some hope.

Honestly, I just want to hope for the Senate to not be a complete clusterfuck so, grab onto whatever.

If Biden wins good imo. I've got a hunch there are a lot of potential Dem votes that sat out a Georgia election because their votes don't matter in a red state. You know?

A tie is a win for whoever wins the presidency.

From the current information, a run off is a huge win for Democrats. It at least gives us a chance to fight another day.

Really hard to say. Dems could muster enthusiasm at the prospect of getting a 50/50 senate, and Republican turnout could be diminished without Trump on the ballot to get people out there. Or just one of those things could happen, or neither. Worth putting a ton of effort into for dems though, IMO.

I'm still hoping even if we don't take the senate thay the fact that the GOP have all but abandoned trump the moment they realised they could be rid of him and keep some control over the next 4 years, that it could lead to an attack point in 2 years time. Run for senate seats and put out ads making clear to the cult of trump that they threw their God King away the moment he needed them to help keep power and just try and keep their turn out low from them not wanting to vote for R senate seats that didn't save trump for them. 2 years isn't a long time and it can still be in the cult memories.

We really need to get a standardized vote and count process. Its really ridiculous that we dont know the results yet
The ironic part of this is republicans in PA set up a rule so the mail in ballots couldn't begin being counted until Election Day. Other states have been counting them before the 3rd.

Per CNN, vote count in Philadelphia would not be finished today, the volume is just too high.
