I think they just knew and wanted to be around him.was everybody there around them during that dance? Felt weird how everyone knew to gather and find Clay as soon as they heard the song. Maybe I need to rewatch the dance from S1

I think the best thing that I find about this season is how everyone is united this season and friends against Bryce. Except for Tyler, that dude is gone and fucked beyond measures.
Also Clay is totally in advanced stages of schizophrenia.
Not the punk tracks these young lads are listening to. Maybe they will segueway into actual emo later on in the season, I am not that far in.

Sorry but it's just anecdotal.
The season came out the same day of the Texas shooting.People who finished season 2, does it feel like the writers......
chickened out with the school shooting, due to the increase of school shootings?
IMO, the increase of school shootings (in real life) should warrant them moving forward with actually having one in the show.
Is there anything else you felt was enjoyable? I just thought it was reckless both in how it handles its themes in a moral sense but also how it is written and executed for something that can be watched as entertainment. Can't hitch my trailer to the hate train. Just finished and I really enjoyed it. Not as strong as season 1 but it was hard to live up to that. With them finding closure with Hannah, it will be odd to not see her around in the next season.

Can't wait to see how they put Katherine Langford into the third season.
Someone told me she wasn't dead before I got to watch the second season. I was like... what. Can't wait to see how they put Katherine Langford into the third season.
Honestly, I kept half expecting her to show up at the end of the season, alive.Someone told me she wasn't dead before I got to watch the second season. I was like... what.
Sad thing is I believed him up until I watched it lmao
I was too. The absurdity just gets worse and worse, last season grounded itself pretty well but this season has (minor spoilers for things that happen this seasonHonestly, I kept half expecting her to show up at the end of the season, alive.
I agree 100%I was too. The absurdity just gets worse and worse, last season grounded itself pretty well but this season has (minor spoilers for things that happen this seasonguns (quite a few of them), attempted murder, more rape, the worst portrayals of mental illness, adults who are cartoonishly evil or ignorant, and kids who are supposed to be 15 - 17 years old are acting like criminal masterminds.
It's all very inauthentic and ridiculous, I cant fathom what they have done. It's hard to believe people wrote this and shot it and edited it. I'll just read the Wikipedia plot summary next season.
It's a literal rape room. Guys in high school do shitty things, I've witnessed it first hand. But the idea of 20+ 15 - 17 year old guys all taking girls in to this shed to rape girls and no one knows and they take pictures of it like trophies is just the most absurd concept.I still can't get over the whole clubhouse thing. It's so ridiculous.
Hannah's cousin comes to town and happens to look exactly like Hannah, except she wears glasses. Can't wait to see how they put Katherine Langford into the third season.

I agree with this.I think the writers are so far removed from being teens that they don't realize something like this would be a secret for all of like 24 hours before a kid bragged about it and suddenly the entire school would know.
Kids keep secrets from adults, but not so much from each other. It's kind of one of the premises of the show, where kids can't ever shut the fuck up.
When Justin got with Hannah, it was public knowledge to the whole school before first period even started.I think the writers are so far removed from being teens that they don't realize something like this would be a secret for all of like 24 hours before a kid bragged about it and suddenly the entire school would know.

The contrast of quality from season one to two is unreal.Episode 11 and I keep throwing my head back and saying Bruuhhhh. I can't with this show right now.
I think season one had moments like that, definitely. It was nowhere near as consistent as it is in this season though.I think you're overrating s1 if you think this. At its core it's still YA/teen drama aimed at a certain type of audience.
There are similarly stupid things that happen in s1 to go "bruh" over.
