All i remember of tom braider 2013's level design is lara going around the island in a circle in order to find.rope to attach to her arrows so she can finish going around in thst circld

Now after refreshing my TR memory i think that Shadow of the Tomb Raider has a chance to be at least better than Rise XD But with separate difficulty for puzzles, exploration and combat and there are a lot of those big contraptions from the trailer where you need to avoid hazards it could be even better than TR2013.

Are the tombs even worth doing in TR?

No, they're insulting to the word puzzle. The ones in 2013 take about 1 minute to complete each and usually only have 1 simple to figure out trick to them. The tombs in Rise take maybe 5 minutes but are just as easy.

They're pretty much designed for the AAA audience like the rest of the game's design.

Episode one of Quantum Break done.
Game would have been so much better without the whole TV, TV, TV stuff.
Shooty-bang is okay, level design atrocious, graphics wise it's uneven - extremely blurry, some of the effects are laughable, some jaw dropping.
Not looking forward to further Northlight games, unless Remedy optimizes the engine for current hardware - I'm getting ~60-90 fps with upscaling on, 30-50 with off. Both look almost as much blurry.

Yeah, game is mediocre at best. The time manipulation stuff was fun at first but got boring quickly.

It turns out, Prey is a lot more fun when you aren't an idiot that somehow misses the first gloo gun, among other things.

All those console gamers saying next gen consoles will have 15+ TF.
Not with bloody AMD GPUs, they won't.
10 TF max, unless you count SP.
I mean, 980 TI is, what, 5 years old, and still beats anything AMD has available on PC.

Finds dagger to defend against 1 zombie grab.
Turns back and goes around the corner, zombie appears. Gets grabbed by it when trying to run past it, uses up dagger.
Is all out of saving items after 20 minutes.
I'm doing great guys.

Took a break from Prey because I guess I own Dishonored 2 and had completely ignored it. Anyways, played up to and past the clockwork mansion level cause I remember reading that it's one of the best levels ever somewhere. Damn, that shit was crazy good, did the non lethal thing for the bad guy and that's still pretty fucked up lol.

If it makes you feel better, think about it this way: You are re-enacting what would have happened in a real life zombie outbreak, instead of the video game plot, where one person somehow takes out an entire mansion worth of zombies and other monsters.

I absolutely think Arcane should get a medal or award for that level alone. It's sooooo damn good. And you can play it in so many different ways, with drastically different feel and reactions.

The first Resident Evil is one of those games where you're almost better of starting over after an hour or so because you wasted so much stuff just learning the game a bit.

Yeah, I can see that.

Also I noticed I can't deal with thank controls with a controller. Totally fine with them with Mouse + Keyboard though.

Went through my PC backlog again and nothing screamed "play me" XD I guess that it is time then to go back to my console backlog and see if there is something that i am in the mood to play.

At least SEGA is starting with Yakuza 0, the 2nd best one in the series.
I don't think people will enjoy 3.4 and 5 tho, after 0, Kiwami and possibly Kiwami 2 THE TRUE GOAT.

Ah, boss #5 in The Surge in "the boss fight where we sprinkle in bosses you already fought, except now they can stomp you to death in one hit." Might take me a few days to work through this.

I had a bit of a challenge finding $20 worth of titles I wanted to pick up on GOG with its limited selection but I came out of their sale with ...

Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines
Firewatch
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Theme Hospital

and got Rime and Sunless Sea free with their promotion.

Splurged a bit and got Oxygen Not Included for 12.98 with Steam's Klei Survival Bundle as well. I'd picked it up yesterday for 14.99 without realizing the bundled deal decreased the price even more. With the bundle I paid an even more discounted price and came away with the Reign of Giants DLC for Don't Starve too, feeling pretty good.

Now to find time to play it all ...

I have the G403 Prodigy Wired, it's fantastic.

I am playing Yakuza 6 atm and holy crap are the jaggies noticeable. I really look forward to applying proper anti aliasing in 0 when it drops just to have the game look much more smoother and cleaner.

Mod edit: removed a picture of a game on Resetera's ban list

A rather short but fullfilling experience.
As entrepeneur of an erotic start-up it is your job to expand your company, satisfy the desires of a diverse field of customers and earn capitalist valuepapers.
You do so by managing the time, health and addictions of your employees in the style of a "clicker" game, these mechanical depictions of an employees hard work are served on an asthetic inspired by classical japanese drawings displayed in beautiful contrast to the Lars von Trier inspired contents found within.
It finds itself as a criticism both, our modern capitalist values - Entfremdung as taken straight out of Karl Marx's theory of alienation - and the commercialization of our human desires.
I'm very thankful for having had the chance to play this bold statement of a game, it gave me a new and deep appreciation for Lana Rain's webcam artistry and her unique struggles.
