I'm not enjoying Budget Cuts nearly as much as I was hoping I would :(. It just feels kinda lifeless and thin and is really frustrating in spots, I think the demo is more fun that the actual game if I'm being honest. It was my most anticipated VR game and I'm left disappointed.
Random ass question but what chairs do y'all have in your PC gaming setup? Need something new & comfy!
I probably shouldn't have bought Slay the Spire from Chrono. It consumed my whole weekend. I beat the game with all three characters. Hopefully I can use that fact to convince my brain I finished the game. Now, I need to back away slowly and carefully, then find one of those memory zappers the Men in Black use. Then I'll be free again. It's for the best.

I got a DXRacer and honestly it's just okay. Like, I think I could have done way better for $400 but I'm not sure. Never really looked around so just got what was popular at the time lol.
It is pretty neat for naps though, just like recline it all the way back, put your feet up and zonk out for 20 minutes lol.

My day was poop. Fighting my router and ISP for speeds that mysteriously were cut in half last night after a brief power outage.
Fixed now thankfully. Still, unfortunate way to spend a day. >_<
The Bums can be pretty hilarious at times.
Sounds plausible to me.
I did eventually find out how to disable the F12 - Light function through an .ini file. Re-binding it in-game wouldn't disable the F12 function.
On another note, how is everyone's experience with the (voice) sound quality from the chat update?
i just played around two hours of the octopath traveler demo and it's a shame this game is a switch exclusive, i think this might be one of the coolest jrpgs in a while and i think modding could help a lot with some things that bug me already that i could see modders take care in like 2 days. mostly toning down the diorama macro effects a bit cos it's a bit much imo. that specially is my main complaint with the game, and since it's an unreal engine game i totally see that being really easy to change
i really like the game tho, combat's got a bit of megaten flavor and i really like the stories i played so far

Finished Vampyr last night, and for a studio's first effort at an RPG I found it very solid.
The last hour or so was a bit of a misstep sadly imo, I found the last boss rather difficult as it scales to your level and I was at max level then :/
And the plot just splurges exposition at the end with little context so the conclusion was rather unsatisfactory and confusing.
All the same, I really enjoyed it and as I said in a prior post, I appreciated the way your character upgrades where handled rather cleverly in the theme of the world.

Oddly enough, that particular game is no longer banned in Australia.
I get that Twitch isnt allowing those specific games to be streamed, but I dont think twitch bans you for discussing them, so I see absolutely no reason why they should be banned here or I really need some good reasoning for this from a mod, because I dont get it. Fair enough, no pictures and videos that are very explicit/pornographic allowed but a fair/funny post brings no harm unless ofc Hektor posted a more explicit picture.

Wish I could get around to going through Diablo 3 myself tbh, but backlog and all that.
What a joke. Didn't forum got lit after Valve sent email that those games will be removed and Valve got bashed for days. Now when those games are banned on this forum everything is fine for some reason.

It's weird, but also makes sense - it was gaming news, so I guess an allowance was made to talk about the games in the context of Valve's actions. Now the games are fine, and there's no news to talk about, so the ban is back in place.
I am talking about how people are fine with Era banning some of those games but they go mad when Valve says they will remove them.
I wish Steam would allow having direct links on resized screenshots like some of you guys doing with those fancy flickr previews, I kinda want to post here my screens from Vampyr and other games but they're all in huge-ass 4K and take too much space in posts, so I don't feel comfortable posting them here. And I just noticed Hektor ban. What the hell, if we have a list of banned games here then they should be automatically censored, and it should be a warning after the first post, not a ban with an unknown duration, this is too harsh.
Yeah, I've started playing this game month ago and spent my first hours tweaking graphical settings and config files, trying to remove this goddamn blurriness all over the place and get stable 4K/60 FPS result. Results are not perfect, removing all blur effects is simply impossible, it's how this engine works, but still looks much better and cleaner than on standard settings:

So the dev and pub homepages are supposed to go into public beta today. I wonder how many devs will actually end up making a page.
If nothing else, I hope that the pages will incentivize devs to unify their names in the storepages or something. Yesterday I was trying to look up all the LEGO games and they are divided under at least 3 different names, TT Games, TT Games Ltd and Traveller's Tales.

And what if they'll finally decide to change their company name to LEGO Videogames Factory Ltd. or something, they haven't made anything except LEGO games in past 10 years and their last original IP was released in 2002.

I know, but I have Steam activity feed for that kind of posts. I want to post my screens with additional thoughts about those games, just like neoraider, dex and others are doing here, not simply drop few screens and move on. I'm complaining about lack of built-in options to resize images for better visibility, both by Steam and this forum (I've tried BB codes but they doesn't seem to work). If I want to post them in, for example, in 660x370 resolution like Steam showing them in the activity feed by default, then I need to manually resize those screenshots and upload them somewhere else, which is very inconvenient.
