Switch Owners: Are You Still Getting Dark Souls Remastered?

Getting the amiibo as a small ornamental piece but still unlikely to buy the Switch version of the game -- already got it for PS4 and considering a double dip on my PC.
I'll give up the PC double dip with my discount if they announce they added a local wireless mode to the Switch version, though. I do actually get together with friends with Switches and that'd be a great way to play, I feel.

I was kind of turned off by how the game was delayed at the last minute and not even a reason was given, and we're still waiting for a new release date.

Considering that the Switch is my main system and the the only Souls game I've played before was Demon Souls, I'm looking forward to it whenever it finally comes out.

I'd love a game like this to play at my desk. I could get it on PS4 but I'm fine with the 30 FPS and it doesn't look like the "remaster" adds very much graphically.
And because the game can be easily paused and picked back up, I'm gonna have a lot of fun just messing around with novelty builds and exploring.

If im going to buy the switch version basically comes down to if Virtuous Games fucked it up again or not. L.a. Noire was framerate (and audio) nightmare.

Yep, I played the beta on my Xbox One X but I wasn't sold. The PC version seems like a ripoff so it's portable Dark Souls for me, whenever it comes out.
Absolutely yes. But it would be nice to know the reason why it was delayed, and when I can expect to play it. As far as I know there's been no info on this beyond that tweet.
I'll probably get it day one. It's my favorite game ever and I'm a sucker for Dark Souls. The thought alone of getting some invasions in on my way to work excites me..and I never took my portables out of the house!
I'm still getting it, but with it's "Summer 2018" release tag and Okami and MHGU coming in August, I fear the line-up will be too packed. May was REALLY the perfect time for it...
Also, I have a feeling that it'll be a higher price when they reveal the new date.
Well I hope that Dark Souls on Switch seems like a port of Dark Souls.
I was so excited for the switch version, but I caved yesterday and bought the ps4 remaster. It will be my 3rd time playing through, so I think the switch has missed the boat for me as I won't need another play through for quite a while. Remaster is awesome, I can't stop playing.
only a couple more bosses left for me on Xbox One X so no but Switch was super close to being my first option...that 30fps tho

I'm getting it for PS4 once I'm done with GoW. I've already played it at 30fps, want dat 60fps this time around. I don't use my Switch on trips often enough to make the portable aspect more important than the performance for me.

I picked up DS:R on PC so I could play in 4K. Don't know if I will get it on Switch. I think my next purchase will be Hollow Knight,

i was planning to get it for switch as a first-time player (well, i bought the PS3 version but just never got around to it), but gave up the other day and just got it for PC instead. i'm glad i did — i'm really digging the game so far and i don't think handheld mode at 30fps would have been the best way to experience it for the first time.
might still double-dip whenever the switch version does come out, because it's clearly a game well-suited to multiple playthroughs and a handheld version would be neat, especially with the hindsight of actually knowing how to play it. still, kind of feel like the delay was a blessing in disguise for me.

I've still never played a souls game and I was planning to start with the switch version (as long as it's a decent port)

I'm still picking it up day one. I'm about 22 hours into Xenoblade 2 and hope to have that, Earthlock, and Battle Chasers done before it arrives (I'm assuming an August release based on absolutely nothing - a September release would be even better for me).
I think Blightown will be fine on Switch.
There was a time where Dark Souls Switch was my most anticipated game. Playing one of my favourite games of all time on a handheld? Heck yeah. The delay has unfortunately killed a lot of my buzz to the point where I didn't even notice other versions launch. I'll of course get it but I'm not as excited as I was last month.
Definitely, although I might not get it right at launch...whenever that will be. "Bed Souls" is exactly why I want it.
