I'm having a real hard time getting the hang of using buttons for regular dashes in this game. Double tapping is just not quick enough or comfortable to me in a game like this, but dashing with buttons is really weird. You can't dash backwards with them, and theforward dash seems really sensitive to when and when not it activates.
What a shit beginning to this game. Love the gameplay but all the shit you have to go through just to get a versus AI game going really turned me off. Non skippable intro, shitty EULA, put into a lobby from the get go, have to navigate to a specific area. Whoever designed this is out of their mind. Shouldn't have to go through all these hoops just to get a game going, unless I'm missing something.
Woooooooooow, that is really well edited and there are times where the game just straight up looks like the anime, like I had to watch it twice to catch all the actual gameplay segments (watching in the small embedded window so most likely more obvious when blown up and you see how clean the game is compared to the animation).
OK, the matchmaking sucks today. Waited 20 minutes for 1 ranked match. And it's not like there are no people - I visited couple of lobbies and they were full or had more than 40-50 players ._.
Even when joining the arena with only 1 person standing there waiting I couldn't get a match.

after preordering pc version and a best buy copy that isn't scheduled to arrive until tomorrow my friends and I went out and I bought a third copy of the game since we couldn't wait anymore. (I'll return the BB copy later)
Anyway... no regrets. 5 solid hours of playtime straight so far and we are absolutely fucking IN HERE.
This really is my dream DBZ game. <3

This is embarrassing but how do you do wired connections? Do you have to connect to the router or something? Because that's impossible for me. I just saw cod say the same thing about wired connections so im confused haha
Get powerline adapters, have a look online on the kind of things you need to bear in mind. Wireless connections for fighting games are really not acceptable. Even if you have a good experience there is a possibility that your opponent is having a negative one.

Wow thanks I just bought one on Amazon, should be here in the 1st. My family uses a ton of Wi-Fi so I occasionally lag especially in Big ballplayer Ganges (cod). Hopefully the thing helps!
Does anyone know if there is another pre order code for the dbz namco site or is it just one, which means if I entered the pre order code for the beta and downloaded that, that I already have the SSGSS characters?

There should've been a separate one from Amazon that came yesterday titled, "Your 'DRAGON BALL FighterZ" code from Amazon blah blah blah" and should have the code for the unlocks there.
Shit, Amazon can't find another code, there is only one in the system. -.- Now I have to wait until they write me back in a E-Mail.

I would have been blown away if Jiren made the roster. That would mean that they were either privy to animation details months before the character did anything in the show (seems unlikely), or that they took some serious liberties. It is really a tossup if he will make the DLC for the same reason. I would suspect that he won't, though it is obviously possible that they are working on him right now so they can release him a few months from now.
I mean, the collectors edition is nice and all, but you have a Ga-Ko clock.

Also the only positive thing I can say about having the Steam version delayed is that I'm going have a friend over at 6 which by that point the game will be unlocked, and we both get to experience the game at the same time.
