I just had a game that was 40 vs 20. It might had been more than 40, but the names ran off the screen...

The next match the same thing happened, so something is probably wrong with that server. lol

I just realized EA Access subscribers can play the game early... as a subscriber, does that mean the game will unlock for me today if I buy digital, or just that I can play the 10 hour trial now?

Got a key from another place ofr trial, and damn this is fun.

Played Devastation or whatever, it was pretty ok even though I don't like claustrophobic CQC that much. Church gets quite contested. Easy to rack points with Support though, I just tossed ammo packs at everyone I saw (surprisingly doesn't work at enemies and it got me killed few times).

Unlocked Suomi-kp already, will continue with it when I have time to play. Had to stop because my daughter shat a shit of the century. She lost like half of her weight. Shit EVERYWHERE.

Now it is time to put kids to sleep (at least the older one), then I need to make something fatty for my wife (she's been craving for nachos etc. lately). Hopefully I get to play later this evening...

One question: I am now using the 7day trial and it has 10 hours worth of game time. If I use all of that but then actually buy Access Basic (or whatevs IDK), do I have another 10h to play? Trying to game the system here...

Oh, and DICE needs fix the revive bug. The whole 64 players were unable to revive in the last two matches. Makes medic's work a lot harder...

This game needed longer delay.

They still have some old classics in like at your end you get shot once to chest by AR and it's OHK from 100 HP. At enemy end he just emptied half an mag into you.

No, you can play the deluxe next Thursday, standard has to wait for the week after that.

Deluxe Edition November 15
Standard Edition November 20
Just as I said, someone would correct me if I am wrong. I was.

Such a weird decision / approach. Guess they really want people to subscribe to EA / Origin Access.

Very good to know though. Not so eager now to use up those 10 hours of the trial.

Uneven sides makes attacking on Narvik impossible. Good practice but not that much fun.

The squad screen did show my team without their heads today. I was laughing so hard that I totally forgot to make a screenshot but that was weird. Did this happen to anyone else?

So to spot:

Q puts a ping

Snipers always auto mark if you hit someone?

Sniper scope

Suppression

Spotting flares

Right?

I could have sworn i was able to spot in beta though, in the traditional way of pressing spot over an enemy?

So it's a good idea to be firing from the hip on occasion with the medic weapons right? I'm so not used to that. At least the starting weapon has pretty good range.

Just played 2 hours of Operations right now, game doesn't seem to give defenders enough time to set up fortifications whenever a sector is lost. I'm already getting shot at left and right a few seconds later.

Played a bit of sniper today as well. The spotting scope is soooo good, and the spotting plays exactly like BF1's spotting system. You don't even need to press Q, just aim the scope in a general direction and it'll spot everything for you.

As somebody who hasn't played since alpha.. is this game completely different? Cuz I couldn't stand the sluggish pacing and spotting system. Are planes more usable? Heavy tanks not paperweights that are only useful for sitting on a hill next to a white box of ammo? Really hope they turned things around.

Agree on the fortifications. I guess the idea is to experience the rush of conquest, and pre-fortify sectors ahead of time, but that's time spent not on the frontlines.

You can spot with the spotting thing from the sniper.

You can also "mark" enemies with a red ping but it doesnt follow them, justs marks the last position.

Seeing some confusion about the entries...

1. Purchasing Standard Edition unlocks the full Standard Edition of the game on the 20th.
2. Purchasing Deluxe Edition unlocks the full Deluxe Edition of the game on the 15th.
3. Purchasing Origin Access Basic or EA Access unlocks 10 hours of the Standard Edition of the game now, with some limitations in singleplayer. (for which you don't have to buy the Standard or Deluxe editions at all)
4. Purchasing Origin Access Premier unlocks the full Deluxe Edition of the game now. (for which you don't have to buy the Standard or Deluxe editions at all)

3 and 4 are available for as long as your subscription to those services is active.

I feel like if you have EA Access + Deluxe you should be able to keep playing past 10 hours. Hm :(

I have a question, if I purchase the premier subscription. If I cancel later and buy the full game will my progress save?

So if I get the deluxe edition with premier and then buy the regular edition later...I lose the special unlocks but not my progress?

Finally game is almost here, but after the trailer they show the deluxe version of the game.

Why covers are not equal with some extra details for standard and deluxe version? Any idea why Battlefield sisters were removed from the deluxe version?

Are the final covers or are just promotional?

That is a great thread title. This is the first Battlefield game I've been really looking forward to for quite sometime, not just due to it's representation, but a lot of the gameplay additions and bringing it back to a team focused game after the last few entries really lost that. I'm also quite a fan of the content release model, and am happy to support games that take this somewhat more pro-consumer model.

Battlefield 4 and Titanfall 2 were written by the same person. As such they a similar sense of heart. (Also, BF4 is better than Titanfall 2 which was pretty weaksauce compared to Infinite Warfare that same year, TBH.) I know a guy who replays the Battlefield 4 campaign on a regular basis because it has a certain... something. The Bad Company games had pretty good campaigns. Hardline, by Visceral, was outstanding. BF1 was weak. But overall they've been more hit than miss. I hope BF V is closer to Hardline than BF1.

Guess to make the difference stand out more in the game shop. With the digital version you still get the woman box art even when you have deluxe.

You will definitely keep your progress, since that is not related to what edition you own at all.

Unsure about the deluxe specific unlocks, though.

Duels between a Tiger and a Churchill on Hamada's destroyed bridge while your armour and smoke screens allows infantry to push and repair the bridge are pure epicness.

Ok initial impressions after about 2 hours of MP:
Now correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I just haven't played much yet but I feel the match flow now leans a bit more towards BF1, everyone running around heedlessly, I thought the intent was more tone down gameplay in that regard, more tactical. Maybe it's a side effect of the attrition changes, they changed it for the worst IMO, I haven't struggled for ammo or health so far but maybe I haven't played enough yet.
I'm sure part of it is people getting a feel for the game but it does feel slightly different to me. Like the pacing is less deliberate than beta, and I'm experiencing more of the spawning/fighting/chain feed squad stuff that I hated from previous games. Recon spam is also weirdly annoying

I hate the snow map . Attacking is impossible on day one and day two.

Yeesh.

I also don't like that spawn beacon is total doo doo about placement . Gray flat open area and it won't place. Super frustrating.

Rest of the game is mint . Best BF since BC2.

I think the same. The beta you could predict more where the enemy was. It seemed a touch slower too. Now it's more like that on steroids and enemies are everywhere.
