It's wild the turnaround we've had in Ohio.

If Cordray wins, I just hope Democrats do well enough overall to break the GOP's supermajority so he's not a lame duck.

Also important as it means Brown would be able to pursue the presidency or vice presidency without giving up his seat to a Republican.

Wow, just trying to get a photo op.
Ya know, one of these times (I can't be the only one thinking there will be many more during his presidency, right?) I'd want a person to say "yes" just so they can tell off Trump in person and tell what a giant piece of shit he is. I don't think he could deal with that well.

I really hope the GOP is seeing internal numbers that show King losing so they're trying to distance themselves from him.

Again, the wise thing would be to sacrifice IA-04 knowing they'll lose the House anyway and get some ~~~both sides~~~ goodwill from abandoning King.

So what is the feeling on Beto's chances in Texas? I know polls don't seem great but early voting has been insane and I've read multiple stories about youth and Latinx turnout, or is that just wishful thinking?

I'd say he's definitely has a puncher's chance. If had to quantify, I'd say 30% chance.

Seems like an uphill battle, but one he's been willing to fight.

Fuck me for having optimism or just being a bad analyst, but I think the polling is possibly way off, the voter screens are missing lots of enthusiastic first-time or irregular voters from Dem-leaning or Dem-dominant groups, and that Beto has a pretty decent chance of pulling the upset and that we have a pretty decent chance of flipping the Senate.

And I think we have a better than decent chance of going 50/50 in the Senate.

Ya know, this may be the missing link between "Liberals have these massive conspiracies!" and "None of them actually bear any fruit"

Projection, again. Conservatives think liberals are a bunch of Jacob Wohls
