I'm unsure at this point. Already have a launch Switch and a Switch Lite. Other than playing Monster Hunter Rise I've not used them a ton the past year or so, and even that I'm still early in as XSX and PS5 games get most of my attention.
If I got one I'd probably just trade/Sale both my Switch and Switch Lite as then I wouldn't mind the upgrade even if I don't end up using it more than I have been my current ones. I also worry not enough enough games will take advantage of the extra power, like the New 3DS never ended up feeling like it was worth the upgrade. The Switch Lite is way more comfortable in handheld mode, but I could go back to dealing with the full size one to knock the upgrade cost down.
But if I can offset most of the cost via selling/trading my current ones it may be worth it. Though a wrinkle there is my launch Switch has some minor damage from a drop. Spot on screen that is a bit white in some scenes and broken plastic around the fan. Works 100% fine docked and mostly fine portable as that screen spot isn't very distracting usually.
In any case, I'll probably be in wait and see mode and see how much better the screen and battery life are and how big the performance boost is in things like BOTW2 as frame drops bugged me in the first and whether there's a boost for existing games like Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity as I've held off on that as the drops in the demo were terrible.
Definitely zero interest in putting in the time to hunt one down if there's not an easy preorder opportunity. If there is a preorder wave announced well in advance I may give it a try since it will likely be hard to find for a while. Though I doubt it will be as bad as the Switch Launch window or the PS5 or XSX currently as the mid gen refresh consoles, New 3DS etc. weren't nearly as difficult to find as upgrade demand isn't as high as new console demand. Though I'm sure this will be worse than past ones with less supply due to the chip, capacitor etc. shortages.
