Joking with my heart is cruel.Sounds more like they put it in as a joke otherwise you can be sure they'd make a big "EXCLUSIVE" article out of it.

Wow, All articles saying Nintendo Direct will be 15th and today is 14th April, 18 years after first Animal Crossing (N64), let's see if anything exciting will be
At this point, they'd be better off saving Splatoon 3 for the Switch's successor. Likewise, while an argument could be made for doing Mario Kart 9 now, the fact that MK8D is still selling may push that possibility to said Switch successor.I don't think anyone needs to be worried or anything, but Nintendo already has (or will already have) most of their biggest franchises already on Switch by the end of this year.
Core Mario title -- Super Mario Odyssey
Core Zelda title - Breath of the Wild (along with Link's Awakening)
Pokemon title - Sword/Shield, Let's Go
Smash - Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Kirby - Kirby Star Allies
Yoshi - Yoshi's Crafted World
Fire Emblem - Fire Emblem Three Houses
Mario Party - Super Mario Party
Mario Maker - Super Mario Maker 2
Splatoon - Splatoon 2
Animal Crossing - Animal Crossing Switch
The only big franchises without dedicated Switch games are Donkey Kong, Pikmin, and Mario Kart. But two of those (and maybe soon to be all three) are present in the form of ports.
It does cause one to wonder what Nintendo has planned for 2020. A new core Super Mario title? Mario Kart 9? Splatoon 3? Breath of the Wild 2?
Outside of Sonic Mania & Mega Man 11, my library is exclusively first party games (the reason I bought my Switch).
With Star Wars Celebration over, it's quite apparent that the license going to EA was really the worst outcome for Nintendo. We're in year three and the only Star Wars game on the horizon is SW Pinball. Pathetic.
Yeah that's really stupid.
We have reached a point where one think a star wars game wouldn't do well enough on a Nintendo system.

I hope they have Bigfoot Pizza!
I wouldn't jump any conclusions too early. I still expect Star Wars to make bigger presence in Switch in the future, with or without EA. Nintendo is very close to Disney with Marvel game, I'd be shocked if talks about a potential SW game on Switch between them never happened.
See, this is why you get depressed all the time, you get your hopes up on the most way-out speculation possible, and then become miserable when they inevitably fail to occur...I wouldn't jump any conclusions too early. I don't think the Switch is powerful enough to run the new SW game...With Star Wars Celebration over, it's quite apparent that the license going to EA was really the worst outcome for Nintendo. We're in year three and the only Star Wars game on the horizon is SW Pinball. Pathetic.
Don't ruin my Star Warriors dreams.Nintendo's licensing agreement with Marvel Games has little influence on LucasArts due to the silo structure of Disney.
garbage

sad I have to deal with someone with bad pizza tastes!
They said before the end of April, so we will get Joker this month. Patience is a virtue.April 18th direct
On that day April will be 60 percent over
Joker when
April is now 50 percent over
Didn't they fire that guy?
Thought I read a thread about them quietly bringing him back recently. They said before the end of April, so we will get Joker this month. Patience is a virtue.
Didn't they fire that guy?
It's probably gonna be whoever "Brave" is (likely Erdrick).Fuck Joker, I just want them to announce the next character already.
I think we can expect a Lego Star Wars game... eventually. Maybe an anthology game including Rogue One, Solo, Episode VIII, and Episode IX?With Star Wars Celebration over, it's quite apparent that the license going to EA was really the worst outcome for Nintendo. Me too, what about those leaks everybody was sure of? The next one is Dragon Quest?Fuck Joker, I just want them to announce the next character already.
Probably gonna have to wait till E3.Fuck Joker, I just want them to announce the next character already.
Between what Tansuit (the guy who leaked Cloud under our noses) said & the "Brave" datamining, the next character is very likely Erdrick from Dragon Quest III.Me too, what about those leaks everybody was sure of? The next one is Dragon Quest?
Yeah it's probably Erdrick but at least it would be moving on. Joker was announced four months ago.Me too, what about those leaks everybody was sure of? The next one is Dragon Quest?
