what does "prestige " even mean?!?
I don't give a shit that it is was exclusive for your favourite plastic box, I've never bought a 3y and a half game for more than 30€.
No I've played it, bought it at launch.
I just love seeing screens and gifs of this game!
Especially with better graphics now!
Let us hope this game supports older GPUs... other games on Decima dont :(
I don't think Sony needs EGS moneyhatting and wants to fairly assess the success of their games on PC 🤷♂️

I played about an hour of the game but was not very happy with it. That came down to 30fps (after getting so comfortable with very high refresh rate), and having to use dual stick, when I've been using Steam Controller for the past few years and enjoy velocity based control over stick. Also wasn't too into the intro section
Bought the game hoping for a better chance of getting into it since the game on Steam does support unlocked framerate and perhaps Steam Input (since it supports Steam Controller DS4 and Xbox per the FAQ)
huge success with critics and sales, being talked about to this day which holds very well on the tech and game design, also a key PS4 title and now a key PS franchise. thus i consider it a prestige game from a now prestige studio.
i believe $50 was the launch price of the complete edition on ps4. :)
Strange, but just in case you are testing ps4 vs certain old PC GPUs: A 750Ti should be an early Maxwell card, despite sharing the 700 series branding with Kepler cards. If I remember correctly.

It's $20 for me on EGS with regional pricing. Already platinumed it on PS4, gonna be double dipping now on PC

Yes, I get better pricing on EGS, steam doesn't do regional pricing in my area
Seems better to save that for an EGS-bought exclusive that the player couldn't bear to wait for the one-year window to clear, honestly.
No way that a PC game in 2020 would be launching without Xinput support (API for Xbox controllers). You're good.
In the trailer they showcase some of the options and HDR can be seen in the display section.
Why not if they prefer it, or there's better availability / regional pricing for some folk, or want to have a library built there only, and if they are content with what it is offering?
Not good at all for me and so many others, but plenty of folk might have reason to prefer it. Nice to have choices.
I'm with you on the regional pricing and I agree that having options is nice. I just think it's a bad option haha
Specs list a GTX 780 as the minimum (I guess due to 3gb being the minimum Vram for the game to run) so it seems Kepler will be supported.
Steam won.Horizon, Sea of Thieves, Halo MCC and Titanfall 2 on Steam's top ten sellers.
GTX 770 and an old AMD FX CPU for 30fps at ps 4 settings.
GTX 1060, rx 480, 1500x for 60 fps
Minimum spec is for 1080p30 on Original settings
Recommended is 1080p60 on Original settings
