God of War is Biggest and Best Rated Sony PC Launch to Date

There's still more than that. Predator: Hunting Grounds (released day 1 on EGS), Helldivers and a couple other smaller titles. (Also the Quantic Dream games are still owned by Sony it seems, going by the copyright info on the store pages.)
Well the leak was a database snapshot at a particular point in time. Not saying those will but games will be added. I could see it launch in the lead up to SM2.
Could get it on PS if you're that desperate, not sure it will launch anytime soon on PC
Definitely didnt but this is also revenue based and Rise was $60 and more for the deluxe version.
No one is trying to take away from GoW selling amazingly well. It just didn't sell more than Rise imo.
Of course, I'm just putting it out there that the list isn't based on copies but revenue. Hence the Valve Index always charting.
They could easily make a crapton of cash just from selling stuff from even 30+ years ago.
True, but concurrent players of Rise is also almost double that of GoW
I'm 100% confident Rise has sold more. It's just a PSA as everytime a steam sales chart gets posted there's inevitable confusion, specifically with the Index kit.
So deserved. Sony put some serious effort into God of War, which bodes well for future releases.

Calling it: Biggest Sony game on PC will eventually be The Last of Us Factions standalone multiplayer.
Spider-man, Sony. There's no other games for that IP currently being sold on Steam and given the popularity of the character( and currently trending due to MCU films), seems like an obvious port at this point.
Some nice perspective. There were not so many games above God of War during the peak. And of course those are pretty much all multiplayer games. That's really an impressive launch.
I loved it. Got way too much hate than it deserved. PC port was excellent as well.
It depends but judging how some players play GOW (running like a madman from the start, skipping dialogues while on the boat, and biting their nails over cutscenes), they're gonna hate Uncharted.
It helps that all the OG launch issues had been resolved by the time it was ported + the good port itself. Not to diminish it by any means on console!
Yeah, seeing the post launch support for HZD really impressed me. It launched in an iffy state but they've spent time improving it and adding new features, which shows a commitment that can only be a positive going forwards. I may even forgive them for not porting Bloodborne this year!
Flower and Journey also. They are published by Annapurna (I think) but have Sony logos and copyrights.
I'm hoping that Bluepoint are remastering Bloodborne for PS5 + PC, and Nixxes handles the PC port. That's the withering dream.

PC gamers chose not to play it. They had every chance to play it, Ps4's werent supply constrained.
Similar with Death Stranding, Sony funded/published those titles on PS but another publisher handled the PC side. 505 for Death Stranding, Annapurna for Journey/Flower.
Moving forward with their new PC label, I imagine they'll handle it all.
