It's coming.
Boy do I have the game to sell you.
Imagine Dino Crisis remake with the mechanics of Resident Evil67 in VR.
i mean...who wouldn't want to experience a T-Rex and raptor screaming right in front of your face in VR...i reckon it will be pretty cool. You've imagined bigger. I played and finished RE7 in VR and yes, I want Dino Crisis in VR.

Is this resident evil 3 a sure thing, did i miss something why are people already saying its a thing?
I dont know who that is but it got me excited, thanks.Dusk golem confirmed it along with Resident evil 8 being in development not too long ago.
???
Not sure what Resident Evil has to do with Dino Crisis. I'd imagine they'd just go on to remake other Resident Evil games or perhaps remake entries in other big successful series
Ahh...well that goes to show how much I know. I've mostly just seen gameplay of some of the games out of curiosity so I never made that link. Still, I can't imagine Capcom would decide to remake an entry in the series because of the success of a Resident Evil remake. They've probably shelved the series for a reasonDino Crisis, the first at least, was pretty much Resident Evil with dinosaurs. It was a survival horror game made by the same creative director.
Dino crisis since 2 has become an action game. Can't imagine playing in VR like that.Imagine Dino Crisis remake with the mechanics of Resident Evil67 in VR.

Yikes. I can see why folk wouldn't exactly be into that. Just saying it out loud sounds rather reallyThat reason was Dino Crisis 3 because it had the disastrous concept of dinosaur aliens in space, which fans of the series never really wanted. For whatever reason entertainment industries thinks prehistoric megafauna that actually existed and is unlike anything alive for millions of years isn't interesting enough on it's own, so they're usually made into fictionalized movie monsters.
But I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be a killer IP now if done properly, especially with the comeback of the survival horror genre and the popularity of games like Monster Hunter and Horizon. I think there's a lot of skepticism because we haven't seen nearly any solid examples of dino games beyond Turok and Dino Crisis, but an impressive trailer of a current or next gen AAA Dino Crisis game would probably put a swift end to that.
