So you're an enemy of Era, a billionaire through some dark magic you end up at the wrong interview and you get hired as the CEO of Apple lets say, and through the same dark magic, you get a billion dollars advance upon hiring.
This is where the unrealistic part ends. You're a billionaire now, seemingly overnight, with responsibilities, and the stress of running a company and god knows what terrible unethical things the shareholders and Tencent will do to you should certain deals suddenly become undone. Unlike your overnight and inexplicable success you now have, money, influence, and power, yet probably there's something shady going on.
What do you do?
It's your chance to be a shining beacon and lead by example for other billionaires to follow in your footsteps.
Do you personally leave the company up to others while you focus your energies on trying to do good with the money in your bank account?
Do you set up a foundation and hire others to do good for you, but lose control on how your personal money is spent?
Do you focus on trying to make your company more ethical, while spending those billions protecting yourself from potential shady "car accidents" and blackmail?
Do you spend those billions to fund your own campaign to become your country's leader (if Trump can do it) and quit the company. Try and change your country for the better. Do you go with the Democrats or try as a Republican, then do a bunch of Democratic policies and try and ruin the Republican party from the inside?
How do you accomplish these realistically?
Do you have to "break a few eggs to make an omelette"? What compromises do you make on the way in order to try and change things for the better?
You don't have to choose Apple, you can choose other companies including weapons manufacturers and dealers (ala a realistic Iron Man story).
Now you're in the shoes of the 1% how do you feel, how do you realistically deal with it?
