This is true, North end Italian is unparalleled. Excellent pastries tooYou guys also have some of the best Italian food in the country, I'd go back just for that
Exactly. San Jose sucks unless it's food, but having all these places close is a godsend. Don't have to drive more than an hour for a good time.I live in Northern California so we basically take all of our vacations somewhere around here. There's so much to see and do-up in the Sierras or down at the beach at Santa Cruz or maybe up in Sonoma wine country or the Redwoods or any number of National Parks.....we can just drive a few hours and it's wonderful.
As someone that lived in NJ for a year I agree. Couldn't wait to get out of there lol.
Tokyo is awesome but photos 2 and 3 aren't doing your argument any favors.

This I am currently on vacation every day. Everywhere else kind of is a bummer in my experience or just not my speed.I live in Northern California so we basically take all of our vacations somewhere around here. There's so much to see and do-up in the Sierras or down at the beach at Santa Cruz or maybe up in Sonoma wine country or the Redwoods or any number of National Parks.....we can just drive a few hours and it's wonderful.
A lot of people come to Boston for tourism reasons which has at turns baffled me until I remember it's pretty old and that we invented america here
the NY fingerlakes are cool i guess, but even then i wouldn't recommend coming here
