It comes down to how sensory processing is handled in the brain. Notice how the feet and genitals section sit right next to one another. Scientists speculate that they often spillover, and it's the reason why people with a foot fetish are usually incredibly intense about it.

This doesn't make sense. Your brain isn't wired to other people's bodies. How you perceive your foot is not the same as how you perceive someone else's foot, the same way looking at your own genitals doesn't get you off.
But again that's would be like petting your foot would turn you on, not watching someone else pet their own foot. Your own body's sensory information is not related to how you interpret imagery (e.g. you don't imagine what your feet look like in order to feel with them).
I can't pretend to be an expert on the subject, if scientists are saying there's some cross wiring going on, and it's an incredibly common fetish then is the argument really faulty? Clearly it's more complex than "look at own feet and get turned on"

There are degrees to everything. A lot of people find legs attractive and feet are just one part of the package. But there's always someone that takes it too far and begs randoms for pictures of their feet covered in whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
I'm a germaphobe so could never subscribe to what you guys are putting down. I do have a friend that likes feet and I light heartedly tease him about it. I do admit that people with the long second toe creep me out a bit and the idea of someone with a ingrown toenail makes my core shudder.

Makes sense and seems logical to me but majority of people on ResetEra will hound you for this and say you're "victim blaming" or that everyone else is wrong for looking at their exposed skin in the first place. I'll probably even get banned for this very post. What some people don't understand is that some of these women are hiding their feet and breasts behind emojis as a way to tease, not as a way to be modest. That's not conjecture, multiple coworkers/friends of mine have admitted to me that's why they do it. If these women that cover up their feet or breasts with emojis were concerned with modesty in general or truly concerned with preventing, in their opinion, perverts who get off on viewing their feet, I would imagine that person would...wear modest clothing and cover up a bit more rather than doing "post-processing" later on with emojis. Especially if the photos they post were taken solely with the intention of placing it on a dating site/app or some other social media. But hey, women can do what ever they want with their photos. Lots of them already obscure and alter their appearance with countless filters, layers of makeup, deceptive angles, and general photo editing options anyway so it's whatever at this point.
