A Horror Reimagine isn't what i expected after IP becomes Public domain.
I did. People want to do things with the IP that Disney would never do.

So it might be great?Getting some real Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters vibes from this.
Disney is not involved. Winnie the Pooh entered public domain earlier in the year. Sorry for the nightmare inducing image.

That'll be the inciting incident surely.A real Winnie the Pooh horror movie would be about playing baseball against Christopher Robin and friends
👍
👍
Also, I can't believe people are advocating for a multi-billion dollar conglomerate to have exclusive rights to a character instead of it going into the public domain...
But why? This isn't harming anyone.maybe Disney should be allowed to extend copyright of their stuff forever if it prevents trash like this from being made"
Didn't know Christopher Robin existed because I never made it past Tigger
I can understand this reasoning, but think this would just result in a win for Disney if their Pooh ends up being perceived as the quality version resulting in people knowing to watch those and avoiding the Uwe Bolle ones.I'm not. But the argument has some merit. Disney would treat this property with care and respect and likely make a film that's at least decent if not great. Instead they're less likely to do that since people can ruin the good name of the character with shit like this.
Again, I'm not saying I agree with that. Only that I do understand.
I don't care what anyone says I still liked that film.Getting some real Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters vibes from this.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
Thank you for reminding me that I had seen a gif of Chris's face photoshopped over Goku's as he's lobbing a spirit bomb.
Can't wait to see all the juicy stuff they'll do with Mickey Mouse and Super Mario 😈
Cannot wait for Winnie the Pooh to fucking brutally murder someone and then go "oh bother"
Dafuq is this shite? This is exactly why if a person, company or entity is still actively using their IP, it should not enter public domain.
