But this is, of course, assuming that women know the average penis size and can measure the average size out for you. Also, assuming women measured their partners penises correctly.

When I took Human Sexuality women said they prefer average size penises. Then the professor had them measure out using their hands what length they prefer. It usually was around 7 inches. Not at all the average.

Just saying that these kind of studies should be taken with a grain of salt and the methodology should be looked at.

The methodology is looked at in the form of peer review which quite frankly outweighs any anecdotal stories about your Human Sexuality class.

Faulty methodologies get through often. Again, if the methodology doesn't account for women knowing the accurate size of their partners and the accurate average then it's not the best to go by.

This is assuming we know the accurate average as there are many flaws in average size studies such as more well endowed men being more likely to volunteer for these studies.

I read a lot of toxic masculinity, but women talk way worse about size with each other. Not to long ago i heard a friend of my gf tell us that she couldn't stay with her ex bf because of his size and ridiculed him.

Why is dick size a thing at all?

Why is body shaming a horrible thing but dick size shaming is fine despite the fact it gives a lot of dudes serious self esteem issues?
I don't really see the big issue when women get judged by their looks only since the beginning of time. I think it's funny for men to be so insecure about their bodies after millennia of "Hot or Not"-ing women.

Women judging men based on overall looks is a lot better analogy to men...well having done exactly the same to women.

It's a big fallacy to compare physical traits one has no control over via lifestyle choices to traits that are controllable via lifestyle choices. I don't wish either of these to anyone. I don't think "we'll men did this, now it's time for men to suffer" when we're supposed to be moving to be better about this for everyone.

I know girls have different sexual preferences as to size. Some prefer girth. Others, length. Other's don't care as long as it's used in a certain manner. But I've been fed the "big dick is best dick" narrative my whole life by porn, comedians, friends and co-workers, and even girls so it's just kinda stuck with me as a truth. So much so that when doing the deed if I'm praised for my size (even if I know she's been with other guys and they could've been bigger than me), It gets me going.

there is no way to change your penis size yet afaik but literally every thing people complain about womans look for can be remidied with diet or botox or plastic surgery.
When there is an easy penis enlargement surgery then sure it will be fine.

Tall guy 100%. Like many have mentioned, I don't think women honestly care that much about penis size but if you're a short guy things are always gonna be real rough. I feel for my short brethren out there. Stay strong boys :(

This is an exaggeration...though there are different levels to "short" so can't really generalize.

Definitely conditioning, men have been conditioned over the years to feel like we should be 6'+, 8" or greater penis etc. Stupid societal standards for beauty and expectations don't just apply to women, media has set expectations for just about everyone. Obviously many times it isn't true, especially later in life when people mature, but for young people especially these standards feel especially important.

Honestly, I feel like in reality this is more of low hanging fruit (Joke sort of intended) that women know it's a matter of insecurity for many men, and so is a potentially more effectual and affectual attack. I.E low blow, and it takes a low person to do it.

I know some of these posts are facetious, but it's weird to see some posters, women included, downplaying this issue or making it into a punch-line of some kind. This is why some men lack confidence or feel unable to express their feelings and insecurities; it's hard to do so without being invalidated, condescended to, ridiculed, or told some variation of "suck it up" or "girth is better than length tho" (which only serves to marginalize certain men even further).

Ironically enough, these replies are why dick comparisons exist in the first place--it's a (childish) way for men to re-affirm their "manhood" in a society that has dictated (be it through social media or pop culture) that one's worth is determined by their physical attributes. From my observation, body positivity doesn't seem to be as prevalent when it comes to men.

Body shaming as some kind of retribution doesn't seem cool to me. But what do I know, I guess.

By definition half of the world has a smaller dick than average.
