Leaning toward a regular PS5, was always gonna get one because my Xbox and Switch just collected dust and I mainly gamed on PS4 but I guess I'd still wanna be able to pop in Blurays I got as well as some of the PS4 games I have. I've leaned toward digital on some of the bigger games I'd still keep playing as well as whatever goes on sale.

Standard. I upgraded my TV but didn't see the use in dropping $200-300 and an HDMI port on a dedicated 4K BR player with the new consoles out

This year? Nothing. Next year? Probably an Xbox Series X.

I still have Gamepass up to 2023. Might pick up a PS5 along the way.

This all depends on whether I actually have any time to game, though.

This year, none, the launch line up for both is very weak for my taste.
Once the platformer and traditional JRPG come in, I'll be there.

I'll get the regular ones, too.

both consoles with disc drive are too expensive, series S is pretty but not powerful enough for me, and ps5 digital is a no go to because of not having disc drive.

If I get a new console this year it'll be the PS5. Probably digital. Still leaning towards a GPU upgrade for my PC though. Gonna wait and see what's up with the Switch rumors and then snag the Series X with Halo if the Switch 4K rumor ends up being fake.

I don't plan on ever getting an Xbox. New PC built from the ground up soon. Not reusing any parts.

With Halo delayed there's pretty much no reason for me to bother with a Series X at launch, so I'll be going with PS5 (disc version because there's no way I'm giving up resale value and cheap physical games for a $100 price difference).

Series X or PS5 DE....leaning X though just because I have my GP sub paid up until November 2021, and I'm not that into Spiderman. I won't be able to hold off on the PS5 for very long once Demon's Souls is out though.

If I was going to buy a console this year it would be the PS5 DE, I have never owned a PS4 so the PS Plus collection plus Cyberpunk would keep me happy for a long time. I'm actually really tempted....

PS5 DE maybe. Don't want to spend 500€ on a new console at the moment. But there's not really much for me coming out in the near future, so my purchase would likely be driven more by FOMO than anything reasonable.

With so many games announced for PC, it made me think I should focus on my new PC build for now and then pick up a PS5 when God of War 2 releases.

I might still pick up a XSX for BC if it improves enough of my games.

Neither console has anything compelling that drives me to get them at launch. I'm looking at Q1 or Q2 for one of these consoles at the earliest.

PS5 or XSX...or neither...or both. The only way I get both is if I sell my PS4 Pro and my Xbox One X.

I can't decide but definitely not the disc-less PS5 (I have a bunch of PS4 discs) or the XSS.

That PS conference solidified that I don't need consoles. The only thing Sony has that interests me that I can't get anywhere else is GT. And if GT does come to PC eventually, I think I'm done with Playstation consoles.

I'm not sure I'll get anything at launch, there's nothing exciting me and I'm saving up for my marriage next year (well, hopefully all the shit that's going on with the world ends with this year lol)
