Just a scene in the movies.
I think the bigger argument of not being in Japan is the lack of guns/usable weapons overall. As whack as a dude running around with a cheap/historical sword or something think they are cool would be, it's pretty impractical against like.... all the things in a typical RE story.
Unless it takes place exclusively in a JSDF base/Umbrella Lab or something. But that would kinda defeat the purpose of the setting imo. Just my overthinking on this location at least. But hey, its a video game, they can think of something if they want.
I'd like to be in a city setting again or at least it seems probable with a sophisticated lab etc too.
True enough. It would have to be some edge lord cool guy though in one of the specialized units like SWAT or taskforce type groups.i mean, cops in japan carry guns, just like leon.
what would be less plausible is the notion that a given officer would be awesome at actually using one. but hey, maybe there's the horror angle
if its japan it transforms into a giant robot that shoots lasers anyway
Zombie robots have potentialif its japan it transforms into a giant robot that shoots lasers anyway
I see what you did there
Fuck it, put it in Antarctica. Have an old-ass umbrella lab there and just do RE: The Thing.
Resident Evil just straight up seeking out the Dimitrescu inspired dollars.
I think they messed it up the first time so I would like to see them try it again but make it into a full game and give them like a fun set of Lords/bosses to fight. They already did this in 5 and, uh, yeah I don't think they should attempt this ever again
That is so specific that I like it. I assume you are a fellow Albertan?
Damn Really? They should just revisit it then. Could look and feel great if its anything link REmake 2.

That is probably for the best because our province sucks right now.Originally from Calgary.
Haven't lived in AB in over a decade.
There's a reason I left...That is probably for the best because our province sucks right now.
