What's the coolest wild animal you can find within 5km (3 miles) of your home?

Great Blue Heron. I just think they look cool!
There is one on my roof right now. Love these birds.
A skunk probably. All the cool wildlife was pushed out with all the houses going up. There might be the occasional hawk or something but they seem more like visitors than permanent residents.
I live 5 minutes walk away from a conservsation area.
IN our backyard alone we have had ravens, ducks, birds of prey, chipmunks, shrews, moles, bats
In the front yard we have had coyotes, wild turkeys and a black bear that ate our garbage. Oh and a rabbit nested in our front rock garden last year, so we had rabbits from birth to adulthood on our property.
