Yep. You can't take it with ya!I don't see the problem with that. People work hard for these vehicles.

I was out of country and left my 95' Nissan Pathfinder with my dad. The mid 90's Nissan Pathfinders are something of legend in my family. One uncle carried one to 500,000 miles. Plus they were cars you could actually open up and tinker with.
Now a days cars look like this
Wtf is that? It's like the 3 shells in Demolition Man.
Anyway, My dad who rebuilt a fucking 76' Jaguar E-Type forgot to put oil in my car. It poetically stopped working once I came home driving it from the airport. No rods popped out but there are leaks in the camshafts. Not sure why I posted here to vent except my Dad bought a new Toyota Highlander and I've been helping him set up the blu-tooth while I'm wondering if I get his old car or what.
ech. first world issues.
Are you in serious need of a new vehicle? The refreshed rav4 comes out later this year and it looks really nice.I been looking at the 2017 rav4 platinum, dealer has it for around 28,000. Sounds like a good deal. Will see how it goes
2016 Jaguar XF S, just 7k miles on the clock.
Murdered out all black (grills, vents, wheels etc). Well optioned (10" Touch Pro infotainment, TFT dials, 20" rims, upgraded sound system, cold climate etc).
Beautiful drive and immensely torquey engine. Even when it's not set to racing/dynamic mode if you slam the throttle the rear tires wheelspin straight away, which is quite fun.

500,000 miles?! Damn. What a tank! How much work, maintenance and repair does a car like that take to make it to 500k?
Anyone here have experience with a Ford Edge? My wife and I are looking to upgrade from our Equinox.
still a student car, but an Acura TL 2007. Which is not bad at all
I can't wait to graduate in like 4 years and lease a shiny new car of the year honestly
How many Oldsmobiles died well before that, and how many E46s failed catastrophically? Don't fall for the survivor bias. Many older engine types are practically indestructible with regular maintenance. My friends dads oldsmobile has probably close to million miles on it and still running.
We are way past those days now, no engine built today lasts that long. Even my cheapo E46 BMW has 350 000km and no major maintenance was ever done to the engine.
As a 2008 Octavia driver, I concur. Good choice.A 2010 Skoda Octavia Combi. Needed a big car, because kids, and one that is affordable. Skoda was easily the best drive out of all of the cars we test drove. Love it.
Pick up a Type R last week
Just got it lowered :p
Its been 15 years since I've had a Civic lol. Couldn't be more impressed though, rocket ship fast, no torque steer, tight gear box, and handles like a Porsche (Kinda :p)
Ah yeah here in California theyre handing out two kinds of licenses on renewal, a Federal compliant one which you have to go into the office and prove your identity again and a non compliant one that wont be good for boarding flights in a few years. At least we get a choice though.Seattle here. The "good" people at Washington's department of licensing recently switched to six year, enhanced id driver's licenses. But for some goddamned reason, they are randomly choosing about 20% of people and giving them TWO YEAR licenses, "to ensure a smoother rollout of the new license style."
Guess who lucked out and got one of these awesomely inconvenient bullshits?
