As for favourite scenes, this one is up there...
I love the few notes from the Imperial theme they use. It's so subtle yet so foreboding.
such a beautiful little detail i never noticed before.Luke's sendoff in TLJ's sunrise as a visual mirror to his start in ANH's binary sunset is fucking perfect
Yeah this definitely, I had a very similar reaction. It was such an amazing moment.Rey+Kylo fighting in the throne room together. I remember leaning forward , mouth agape saying no, no way they're not going to omg they are yessssssss
hmm yep
Everything you posted is beautiful.Everyones posting scenes so I'll go a different route:
The AT-M6 'Gorilla Walker.'
Look at this absolute unit. If you had told me before TLJ that they could take the design of the AT-AT, one of my absolute favorite vehicles in all of Sci-Fi, and actually improve upon it, I would have called you a scruffy looking nerf-herder!
This thing looks mean. Like you picked a fight with an AT-AT and he goes and gets his dad. Look at that little AT-AT standing beside his dad there in the middle. GREAT design evolution.
The Millennium Falcon. I'm glad Disney gave the Millennium Falcon her own movie, as she's my favorite character in the entire Star Wars Universe. Hot damn she was a fine looking ship before the Kessel Run! I couldn't believe what a great job they did designing the prestine interior from before all the abuse Han put her through as a smuggler.
Major props to the designer/design team who dreamed up the original state of the interior of the Millennium Falcon.
I hope this is the worst fate she ever suffers. It will destroy me if anything happens to the Millennium Falcon in TRoS.
Real costumes, masks, animatronics, puppets and physical props/sets/miniatures!
BB-8 still absolutely blows my mind. Absolutely incredible design. To me, a droid that resembles an R2 unit but rolls on a soccer ball body sounds ludicrous, yet it somehow works beautifully on screen and in reality!
Oh, and the infamous controversy:
Kylo's lightsaber. It is still, and has always been, a badass design.
I don't have a lot of love for the show, but Anakin just killing him himself, and the dark humor about it, is perfection.
That one scene does more for Anakin Skywalker as a character than the entire prequel trilogyI don't have a lot of love for the show, but Anakin just killing him himself, and the dark humor about it, is perfection.
I keep going back to Kanan training Sabine

And it's not even his best scene. This is a great one because it shows just how jealous he is and how poorly he controls his own anger.
It's not on Youtube but I also like the scene where Tarkin is telling him that the Jedi's refusal to use any means to an end is losing them the war and he agrees
I really enjoyed Rouge One, so I will go with the Vader scene. I know a lot of people didn't like that movie but I really enjoyed it and that last scene was one hell of a cherry on top.
That was so sad. After all they went through together, that's how it ended.

Baby Yoda.
Also just give Dave Filoni everything, the man has shown he can do it through animation (Clone Wars, Rebels, etc.) and live action (The Mandalorian).
He puts prequel Lucas and Abrams/Johnson to shame.
They way Driver gives that, "You come from nothing. You're nothing." line is so subtly fantastic.
No joke, I tear up every time I see this sequence. It is absolutely perfect to me.Luke's sendoff in TLJ's sunrise as a visual mirror to his start in ANH's binary sunset is fucking perfect
a fan theory i heard about that I kind of like is that using the "hyperspace tracker" thing gives that thing a presence in hyperspace as well as realspace, which is why it was vulnerable to that.Probably the most impressive moment in Star Wars in general. Sadly also the moment the lore was destroyed beyond repair.
Lore = destroyed beyond repairHAN
Traveling through hyperspace isn't like dusting crops, boy! Without precise calculations we could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?
