Its Final Fantasy VII for me. First version I bought was the big box PC release from 1998, then when I got a PS2 I picked it up for PS1. In college I sold all my consoles and games, but when I started collecting again in 2009 I bought a ps2 along with FFVII again. I got it on PS4 when it was ported over I think in 2014, then I got it again on Switch with the imported twin pack. Then I got it on Steam when I learned about the AI upscaled background mods. So I have bought the original FFVII six times. I've also got the remake but that's a totally different game.

Straight up buying the same game, I bought the PS4 version of Kingdom Hearts 3 three times and Persona 4 Golden three times. Otherwise the occasional Switch rebuy, especially for late ports. Digimon Cyber Sleuth is one of those which I own four times now (Japanese Vita, English Vita, PS4, and Switch).
