2020: Only the RTX 3080 TI depending on specs and price.

2021: Both Next gen consoles, and my first 4K tv. MAYBE upgrade to the next Samsung s30 brand phone or whatever they will release. Has to be 100% full screen, 1440p olded with 120hz. Almost went for the S20 Ultra but glad I didn't. Still enjoying my S10 Plus.

I also need a longer Ethernet cable for streaming soon... ehhhhh. I was about to buy one on Amazon and it's wont be delivered by April 25... yea forget it haha. I really don't want to go to best buy ans see the high prices too.

A wider bed. I've had some girls home who were a bit on the bigger side, and my god it's getting pretty crowded.

A capture card for my Switch because I want to be able to be on Discord voice chat and play on my Switch, and have it all come out of the same output display/audio.

Thinking about buying Skyrim vr for my OG Vive. Need something to sink some time into.

And after this pandemic ends I wanna upgrade the lenses, and the headstrap for my headset.

The Gear VR lens replacement is legit. I got a set for my VIVE Pro right after I got it last year and huge difference with god rays/light spots eliminated and just better picture overall. I assume similar effect on OG VIVE.

Managed to scratch one of the lenses so I just got this pair, looking forward to trying out:

www.ebay.com

BEST SELLING GEAR VR LENS MOD KIT FOR VIVE / VIVE PRO - NO CONFIG EDIT REQUIRED | eBay

I think that's the same one I'm gonna get. But gotta conserve money for the time being, and I really want the deluxe audio strap.

A Kindle so I can stop buying so many physical books for reading at work. During the shutdown I still have to work so having something easy to wipe down when getting home would be great, but I can't see myself pulling the trigger right now.

So, as an update - I got a 16GB MacBook Pro this week and within 2 days it's running hot and I got a "system overload" message from simply running Logic Pro X.

Should I pay the $400 to upgrade the RAM to 32gb?

You can't add RAM yourself. It is soldered onto the board. So you could return it, pay a possible restock fee, and get a new one with the right amount of RAM.

Keep going back and forth on building. Currently rocking an i3 6100, 8gb of ram, and an 8gb 1060. A few of the hard drives are pretty full, the CPU is starting to show it's age, and every few years it's nice to start fresh. I'd probably keep the 1060 because it's still a great card.

Thinking a Ryzen 3600 build would be nice, I've never gone AMD before. I prefer ITX or MATX cases though and I'm not quite sure what I should be looking for with motherboards, a lot of the reviews for AM4 boards say they need updates before they work with 3600s.

A new (used) driver, which would be in the neighborhood of $300. My current one is perfectly fine, and I wouldn't even know which shaft to choose without going for a fitting, which I can't do right now. Also, I'm in NJ so courses are closed anyway (local driving range is open though; ball machine takes cash).

11/10, pure unadulterated bullshit.

What are you thinking about buying that you probably don't need. I've been a bon appetit and cooking show binge so most of these have a theme.

Stovetop kettle: I don't think this is too bullshit. Make it easier to make tea or instant oatmeal while I work from home. But also I'm a coffee person and I could just microwave the oatmeal.

3/10 bullshit

Hand mixer attachment replacement/new hand mixer: So I lost one of the mixer attachments. So I'm thinking about buying new ones or maybe just a new mixer because chefmate isn't a thing anymore apparently. But I've used that thing twice in ten years.

9/10 bullshit

Rug: My downstairs neighbor is sometimes annoyed when ever I use my exercise bike without my yoga mat muffling it. But I don't like constantly unrolling that thing. So maybe a rug. But I won't know if it works until I buy it and wait to see if he bangs on the ceiling. And then I know I've just wasted my money.

6/10 bullshit
Why not leave the yoga mat under the bike all the time instead of rolling and unrolling it?

Mainly happens with games I watch be played on YouTube or Twitch, for instance, Quill18 is uploading Motorsport Manager, and then off I go to Steam and elsewhere to see how much it is. I have no interest really in Management games nor Motorsport so the probability of me playing no more than 30 mins of it is very very high.

going to give that one a 1/10 on bullshit

was going to get a raise (hopefully that still happens) and start supporting some patreons, give that a 5/10

down the line, new consoles are a given, just maybe not day 1 7/10

car is 11 years old and have a a kiddo. Who knew that when people said cars are too small they weren't bullshitting? Want to get something that's a little bigger, with remote locks and good mpg. 6/10

4k TCL tv with hmd2.1 when announced for said consoles 6/10

i did buy ff7remake digitial and preloaded, don't consider it that much of a bullshit purchase in all honesty 3/10

Amazon cart for the 3.5 year old has brio, a trampoline, LEGOs and some other stuff, for my sanity, but haven't pressed purchase yet. 3/10

I'm thinking of buying a ukulele and trying to learn that, even though this year is the 4th anniversary of me buying guitar with the same idea and almost never touching it. So probably it will be the same. Trying to stop buying things, but this lockdown period does not help in my browsing the net and wanting shit.

Two USB powered lanterns for a photo shoot I want to do sometime of a very small castle ruin, to capture the night sky and the castle together making it look as if it's used. An expensive-ish ND128 filter for my camera. Sometime down the line a star tracker, but I'm not sold on that yet.

Later in the year I hope to be upgrading to a Ryzen system.

Get on the guitar. I've been putting in 3 hours a day in the last month. I think you can still get 3 months free at fender play.

Just bought a standing desk converter. Don't NEED it but I think it'll be good for me since I've been too sedentary since, well, forever, but especially since the quarantine.

All the upcoming Lego Super Mario Sets
Will not play with tjem, only build them

less BS is the big Lego Hogwarts Set with 6000+ pices for €400+
For if I'm going to buy "only" one big set, then a Harry Potter Set, that is also the 2th biggest Lego set, fit the bill really well
