Did people think he only knew a fictional language made for a tv show or something?

Because Game of Thrones was much more popular and people generally don't research shit when forming half baked hot takes.

I like how basically everyone on Era is slowly working their way through all of the Stargate stuff.

Yeah the other day I was actually kind of thinking about how funny/strange it is that Momoa was like a C-tier guest at comic book conventions for like a decade, charging like $20 for a photo or autograph. Then after Game of Thrones he kinda moved up to being a B-tier guest.

Now he's so big that you probably will never see him at a comic book convention again (aside from maybe San Diego).

My dad actually met him on the set of Atlantis. Said he was one of the nicest people he ever met.

Hah. Jason Momoa's role on Atlantis was part of the reason why I was excited for Game of Thrones in the first place. Loved him in SGA. :)

As for why people didn't know him beforehand? Stargate Atlantis wasn't exactly a mainstream show... and I guess his stint on Baywatch wasn't long enough to make a lasting impact.

apparently, which is just patently ridiculous.
Jason Momoa Was So Good At Playing Khal Drogo That People Didn't Think He Could Speak English (buzzfeed.com)

yea im ripping it to watch on Kodi, a while back some website had SG1, atlantis and SGU box set for like 150 bucks. I couldnt pass that up. I've only ever seen bits and pieces of SG1.

Love seeing new Jason Momoa fans discover his older work. :)

Yeah, he was one of the leads in Atlantis, starting with Season 2.

Jason Momoa was awesome in Atlantis, the Season 3 episode where he's back on a Wraith hunt is AMAZING.

I guess while im here, is there a proper order to watch these? Or is it release order and be done?

If you want to be a bit chronological its approx this (Its also pretty much release order):
Movie > SG 1 until Season 7 > SGA until season 3 /SG-1 until it ends -> SG1 Ark of truth direct to dvd film -> SGA until it ends > SGU

wow i appreciate the amount of passion it takes someone to do a spreadsheet about 3 shows.

I was really surprised to see the version of Children of the Gods on Netflix was the one with the full frontal nudity left in.
netflix don't care. They have outlander which season 1 is basically softcore porn.
Im also watching some random pirates show on there thats about the history of pirates and they have random sex scenes and nudity.

wow, time to turn in your nerd cred if you just realized this, lol.
im sorry i never watched a show.

I'll hang out over here waiting for the eventual "Henry 'Tactical Arm Reload' Cavil was in a Hellraiser movie?" thread.
