In terms of entirely new games, there's this, KH4 and DQ12.
In terms of rehashes, DQ3 remake is also on the calendar at some point.
I think it's more like they heard "Damn PS4 version is in rough state in testing, they are thinking of delaying the game to ensure parity across platforms. Needs more work." and then a couple of weeks later "Okay they are not going to delay the game because they need something release, but the PS4 version might be delayed cause man, it's roooough." and then they can't hold back anymore and tweet "VISIONS OF MANA PS4 WILL BE DELAYED, I AM A SMART INSIDER!" and then a month later Square Enix just decides it's not worth the trouble staggering releases and hopes for a timely patch instead. Haha.

The Trials of Mana remake is one of my favorite JRPGs in recent times and I am pretty much excited about it. I hope it does have at least some light platforming like that game but it looks like the maps are more interactive than just your standard stuff
The entire world is waiting for Switch 2 so they can start porting it feels like lately.
Square Enix is fully multiplatform so don't worry, they will get there hopefully soon.

Thanks for that - Sealed the deal for me, I love job/class based roles, and even better when you can "upgrade" the base class to use skills etc from the others once mastered. CE is very good too, so going to get that for collection and a digital version on PC. Hopefully Steam Deck can run it well.
Game looks cool, but I really hate that one scantily clad monarch character and how the story so far seems to be generic girl needs to sacrifice herself but doesn't want to while her boyfriend bodyguard needs to protect her.
Looks like these are based off of other Mana series characters? I only recognize the main guy and the girl in the green dress. At least the monarch woman gets pants with this.

Damn, I'm stoked. Played Trials of Mana recently and I loved it, brought me back to high school playing the fan translation on emulators. Seiken Densetsu games are special.
First one looks like regular Riesz, and the Sprite looks like Popoi from Secret of Mana. Can't say about the others.

Based on the story I'm guessing this will be more like a traditional JRPG in terms of having access to everyone and swapping them in and out of the main party, rather than picking three permanent members at the beginning like Trails of Mana did?

Like what the fuck ? At least Kevin in Trials would TRANSFORM into a Wolf hybrid so that was fine. Perma freak mode is crazy. Like the game needed another male character because right now it's "generic hero worse than Duran" "little 5 yo boy" and this cat freak.

Julei is a boy too. They're just doing the Popoi thing again where you can't really tell.

I mean I never said he was cool, just saying that the party is majority male this time. Now I wouldn't have complained if the party had more characters in it in general but it's just hard for me to get that upset by Morley looking like a cat even if I don't personally like his face.
Kevin was the best, then Duran, don't at me.
Val's wearing a cropped top in some jobs so that's cool since it was important part of Duran's first job!
