3 games with what seems to be a pretty easy way to get 1440p/dynamic 4K and 60fps that are unpatched and by the looks of it, will stay unpatched.

So for these games if we own the disc, we just disconnect the wifi and load them into the ps5? Can we roll back/ prevent patches any other way?
You'll get 60fps in God of War and these other PS4 games when Sony decides to release a $50-$70 Remaster. Don't lose any sleep waiting for these PS4 titles to be patched.
Huh...I thought it looked really smooth when I saw a youtube video online of PS4 BC. Must have been playing a disc version.

They capped the frame rate on the 4K mode, performance was probably quite bad while uncapped.
This don't make sense, this is 2018 game, they wouldn't think in Future proofing the game while optimizing it.
OK so I guess we're just gonna act like a frame rate cap is the only thing that's been patched into God of War since 2018

You still get 60FPS no matter what version you have when playing on PS5. It's just that disk allows you to play the unpatched version which gives you a higher resolution.
Delete the game install but not the save data. When you reinstall, make sure your PS5 isn't connected to the internet.
Seriously, this doesn't seem then a huge amount of work (there is still certainly some) to patch GoW and TLG for unlocked or dynamic res and fps.
Not sure I'll replay it, but if I do what else was patched? Is the resolution bump worth whatever kinks were ironed out?
Ok people with social media, time to send Shu or Herman a tweet telling them to release a simple patch to remove these limits. This isn't PS4 Pro shit where they had to have a decent performance. Unlock that 4k/60 now! Fuck them remasters.
