It actually bounces off a lot of shit in normal MM2. GB MM2 it's also slower (because the GB) and has fewer shots per bar. It's VERY nerfed there.Found out it's nerfed in mm2 for the game boy or at least it didn't work against airman or maybe it always bounced off the tornadoes I forget
Yep, not to mention Metal Man has the easiest stage and is weak to the standard buster.
Plus it uses almost no energy.
Not to say MM3 isn't good fun, but it felt so unpolished and messy compared to MM2, not to mention the music isn't even half as good as in 1 or 2. I personally never understood the love for 3.further proof that mega man 2 is overrated
mega man 3 all the way baby

I'm going to use this as evidence that the people who insist that Mega Man 2 is the best game don't actually like the Mega Man series. The Mega Man series peaked with 2. It's been downhill ever since.
I guess if the only games you've played are 2 and 3 then this statement makes sense. The Mega Man series peaked with 2. It's been downhill ever since.
It's true. It's very easy. It's the FF7 of Mega Man games. It's not the best one, but it was many's first or first one the were able to beat so it holds more weight than the other games.Storm Tornado from Maverick Hunter X deletes entire stages.
At least from what I remember.
You just swap to it when refill items drop. Never had this issue.MM2 is extremely poorly designed when it comes to weapons in the endgame, with those two bosses that can only be damaged with one specific weapon, and if you used them *at all* earlier, you're put in a no-win scenario where you just have to burn all your lives, continue, and redo the whole stage.
