What if we get a dark world scenario again where we can go between that and BotW Hyrule? Plus added dungeons and such
Looks like it
The entire comments section is just variations of this and I can't stop laughing at itZelda: We've finally beaten the calamity ganon, maybe now we can begin to rebuild the kingdom
Ganondorf: Haha, funny story actually...
Zelda: Fuck
Kirby?
Maybe there are dungeons, this may be one, but the set up clearly is them under the castle.
Right now I suspect this might be the only evidence as to why Zelda might not end up being playable. If this is supposed to be some kind of transmogrifier ability, it's very clearly in his possession rather than Zelda's. Guess we'll have to wait and see quite a long time to find out. They revealed a bunch of concept stuff at GDC like a year or two ago.
Here's another thing that may more may not be used.
This has to be sarcasm, no can be this out of touch with reality can they?Announcing a sequel without explicitly announcing what platform it will be on is odd. If you aren't ready to talk about the year of release, if you aren't ready to promise a current-gen only release, you aren't ready to announce.
Probably has been pointed out already but if you go frame by frame the white hand reaches out to Zelda and saves her from falling.
I suspect that BOTW was meant to be a total reboot, escaping from the specifics of any given game. The "legend" could work be it TP Ganondorf or WW.The glowing hand holding him, is placed where his wound was in Twilight Princess, also the jewellery looks closer to that version, than Wind Waker's Ganondorf.
It is okay, I am wanting to help out with the analysis of the trailer.

If anything it can boss botw sales, more people would want to catch up.-Wonder if its launch will coincide with a revision?
-So why announce this and why now? BOTW is still selling really well.
One question, will Link start off with the master sword in hand since it's a sequel?
Because the other teaser trailers weren't interesting or way too vague. This hit all the right notes. Fans wanted dungeons, this clearly looks like it could be. Fans wanted playable Zelda, this clearly looks like it could be setting us up for that. Fans wanted a darker theme/story, this clearly looks to set it. Zombie Ganondorf. 'Nuf said. Plus the mystery around the other things.Everyone else shows 10 second trailer: that's it?
Nintendo shows literally nothing: OMG THEY KILLED IT, THEY WON.
Can't wait though, still the last game I played to 100% of my switch before it started collecting dust. It's a masterpiece
He has it in the trailer, so probably. Wouldn't be surprised if the weapon inventory mechanic gets swapped out for something new involving that hand. One question, will Link start off with the master sword in hand since it's a sequel?
He wears the Gerudo symbol, it's dorfyZombie McRedhair looks a lot like the "hero" from the legend Impa told, just sayin'
Zelda being in the teaser doesn't signal anything other than you know, it's a legend of Zelda game. It showed less than other games but it's a known quantity hence people are excited.Because the other teaser trailers weren't interesting or way too vague. This hit all the right notes. Most of the other teasers were unforgettable and boring. That's why.

Also it thematically fits with the end of BotW. I'll be pissed if they don't and use some bullshit justification.zelda as the protagonist would be a good justification for losing all of your stuff and skills from botw
Nintendo "won" (I hate that word for this) for showing largely gameplay trailers, with many of those games coming this year. The BotW sequel isn't why most people are so high on them.Everyone else shows 10 second trailer: that's it?

"The new Breath of the Wild or the sequel to it, it's not necessarily going to be related to Majora's mask or inspired by it... What we showed you currently is a little darker," Aonuma said
As someone who enjoys the timeline shenanigans, that'd be awful. Bettter to just ignore it altogether. At this point, it be best to just merge all the split timelines into one and put this and BOTW after it. Fans are gonna want timeline and callbacks, and Nintendo wants to move forward, so might as well come up with some Mcguffin as too how the timelines merge.
KingZell says 2020, but with it being Zelda a delay is always possible.
Eiji Aonuma says the game will be darker than Majora's Mask!

Maybe, don't think full game though. Link looks to be receiving some form of power in his arm, that implies to me he'll still be the main guy.
Pretty sure King Zell only said a new mainline Zelda is coming, not necessarily a direct sequel.
I think he's just saying it's darker than BotW.Eiji Aonuma says the game will be darker than Majora's Mask!
Nope, he's outright said BotW 2 in 2020 before.Pretty sure King Zell only said a new mainline Zelda is coming, not necessarily a direct sequel.
Fine IMO, because I can't remember any other one other than the FromSoftware GRRM game. And I can't even remember the name.Zelda being in the teaser doesn't signal anything other than you know, it's a legend of Zelda game. It showed less than other games but it's a known quantity hence people are excited.
Not fair to blanket call the others boring or forgettable.
Those are exactly what made breath of the wild so much fun!
