I did that at 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x
Still had the pixel jumping
Yup.Isn't the retail mode version literally downloaded from the store? And won't MS get rid of it soon?
CHD is just a compression format it should not affect how the game runs unless the core does not support CHD at allPerhaps it varies by game or the file type of the rom. I only tried 5 games and they've all been CHD files.
Yeah, I was just throwing out a guess why d3d13 is the only option the works when emulating on Flycast for me and GL seems to be the only option that works for recon_zero_CHD is just a compression format it should not affect how the game runs unless the core does not support CHD at all
Viewtiful Joe US , Mario Kart double dash runs both very well. Specially Viewtiful Joe : perfect.
I am having stuttering for gamecube games. How do you fix that?
are you using d3d?How long do ps2 games take to load? Trying god hand and have been on a black screen for about a mknite
Tried 11 and 12, same rhing
You don't need to use the code anymoreIt says the code has already been redeemed. Does that just mean I havent been white listed yet?
Thanks.
Dare I ask about Def Jam: Fight For New York?So is there a list of the PS2 games and GC games that run decent on the system yet?
The PSP version works surprisingly decently on a One X, so I imagine it runs really well on Series X|S.
4k 120 LG C9 OLEDI have the same problem. With the one game I tried, Skygunner. Are you running 1440p/120hz? Maybe it's the TV's overscan?
This is probably due to the original ps2 games being interlaced (so render 50 percent on half the lines, then the other 50 percent on the lines undersneath). This gives some games that impression that the image is moving ever so slightly up and down.
If a game was originally 480i,then you will probably get the pixel shift. If it was 480p (progressive scan) then you won't.
Of course on a crt screen this isn't really noticeable due to the low resolution. But it is on a glorious 4k telly.
Its a problem that exists also on pcsx2 on a pc, with no workaround to my knowledge. Upscaling resolution won't fix it.
The best way to make it less obvious (but you can still see it) is to use a scan line filter (I don't have an xbox so don't know if that's an option) but it is a dirty workaround for pcs.
If you can find a scan line filter that scales perfectly, then the shifting of the next frame up or down is hidden behind a scan line, so its not as noticeable because you only see the image not covered by a scanline, so it appears normal to the eye.
Buy My Files Explorer - Microsoft Store
The folder in the Retail Retroarch you're going to be looking for starts with 52269 and has Retrospection in the title.
I think it's way too much work (either in retail or dev) to get your average person doing this. I am hopeful microsoft just lets it run its course in terms of catchy headlines and then we are left aloneSo it seems ign are running videos/ articles on this now. I wonder how long before the hammer comes down on this. It's making to much noise for my liking. I don't want to end up losing this lol
i'm gonna assume this will fix my error and appreciate the tip...I got it to work...the folder has to be named pcsx2 in little letters not upper.
Upper. I have the bios folder in Local state/system/pcsx2/BIOSi'm gonna assume this will fix my error and appreciate the tip...
edit: didn't work. is your bios folder upper or lower? lol
still just hangs at black screen for me :(Upper. I have the bios folder in Local state/system/pcsx2/BIOS
are you loading from internal?still just hangs at black screen for me :(
i've confirmed the bios works in regular pcsx2 on my PC, not sure what i'm doing wrong here still. using d3d11 instead of 12 if that matters
dreamcast and dolphin both work as well
the actual games? yes

I'm having a pretty bad experience with Viewtiful Joe. Did you change any settings and which device are you playing on?
This video from earlier in the thread should get you started.I've got Retroarch running in dev mode and have loaded the core for the Saturn. How do I transfer the bios files across? Are there any good guides for specifically using the Series X/S Retroarch yet?
