Yeah... if you missed the event, you gotta work for it. It makes sense that event themes cost more tickets than the regular ones. Otherwise, put in that <1 hour during the event. Easy.

My plan was to go for 1200 points, but left it at 1068.

AU/NZ competition, I double-checked the T&Cs and it said winners would be notified "on or about 20 December" but I never received any email about it. Logged in to My Nintendo and I got my 999 coins on that date. I finished with about 2400 points.
