Her T8 design is so off-model in face and physique to every Nina we've ever seen that I've been wondering that myself. She definitely resembles Anna more than Nina. But seeing how much they butchered Paul, I'm leaning towards their designers just going off the rails.

To be fair, the face animates a lot more than his Tekken 7 face, which is very stiff. That means it can look goofy in some frames, but generally looks a lot better in motion.
I feel like that's what Anna would look like if she was in Soulcalibur. I hope Tekken 8 is less of a crapshoot for female character designs than Soulcalibur VI.
