Switch owners: Which of the following seven games yet to be released in 2019 are you most excited about?

It's no secret the back half of 2019 is packed for us Switch fans. September in particular is absolutely ridiculous, especially if we cheat a little and count August 30th's Astral Chain. If polls here had further options there are a couple more anticipated titles I'd toss into the mix but as it stands I'm hopeful most of y'all will be satisfied with the games I've listed.

So! Fight to the death, ye seven noble challengers of the July-December Nintendo Switch New Release Championship, hereafter referred to as JDNSNRC! (Still catchier than New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.) I wanna see where Era's priorities lay.

Super hyped to be re-living my Link's Awakening days. I played that game to DEATH when I got my DX version and my GBC. It was so great! The music is just so damn catchy and fun (as always).

Astral Chain. It's releasing pretty soon, new IP, looks to be a dope action game and it has that Platinum pedigree behind it. Easy choice.

I *am* getting Three Houses and maybe Pokemon but I'm not nearly as excited for them as I am Astral Chain.

Tough choice.

• Fire Emblem will be the first I've been interested in since the GBA
• Links Awakening on the GB was my entry into Zelda and my favourite franchise for years.
• Pokemon will be the first real Pokemon game I've been into since Ruby.

I think Fire Emblem probably clinches it since I've not touched the series in a long time, at all, and I can't wait to get invested in permadeath characters again. The previews are glowing from what I've seen too. Zelda I've had BoTW and Pokemon I really enjoyed Let's Go (enough to let me know I was ready for a traditional one), and Go on release. Never really left either alone over the years.

I'm getting all of those on the poll though. All look great and the Switch continues to be incredible.

Luigi's Mansion 3 and then DxM in second place. The former being the follow up to one of my favourite GC games, and looks like more of what i want versus LM2. I enjoyed the DxM demo a lot too, and decided after it that I was buying it day 1.

As cool as Links Awakening will be, I've already finished it several times so the excitement factor isn't high.

I've never really enjoyed a single P* game so Astral Chains is next to zero excitement.

It's a new IP with the Platinum touch. It looks like the most different from the bunch. I'm also interested in Daemon x Machina but it just doesn't look as polished as Astral Chains.
