For all the flak the man gets, his energy is infectious. Is this literally just Geoff on his own, on a massive stage? Bless him.
Absolutely loved the first game and can't wait for the second game.
I like Geoff and appreciate his trying, but I gotta say this show
even if there is some big announcement at the end, that's how I felt about most of it
Agreed, I'm a little intimidated by Rise, but could definitely fuck with Stories.I'm a Monster Hunter newb, but tbh, I think I want to start with Stories and Stories 2. They look more my jam.
You are definitely right on this. Not even, the only games from BN that came late were not from their internal studios (FighterZ, Jump Force). Code Vein didn't come, neither will Arise because Harada directly oversees those.
Why does Harada not want it on Switch? Not even, the only games from BN that came late were not from their internal studios (FighterZ, Jump Force). Code Vein didn't come, neither will Arise because Harada directly oversees those.
It would be better if all the real announcements weren't at another show in 2 days lol. But im a big Geoff fan. Just calling it how it is.
He's been pretty adamant about seeing Switch as a system for kids. After he took over as head of internal studios, BN support for Switch has declined while pretty much every other major Japanese publisher (outside of perhaps SEGA) has increased.

Wow lol. You would say that based on the sales this is not the case but okay.
Ready for another up-to-30fps late port? But first dev need to fully denied a Switch version and says it's impossibleWow lol. You would say that based on the sales this is not the case but okay.
Yes, but the combat is slightly different. It's still turn-based, and your party is you and your current monster. You have the usual basic attacks and consumables, but the core of it is that monster specials are divided into speed/power/technique in a rock/paper/scissors triangle. You have to try and predict what the enemy monster will do to counter it, much like in a Monhun fight. Different monsters lean towards different attacks and combos, and so the more you learn the enemy, the more you work out how to punish them. Build up enough points for winning these head-to-heads in combat and you can ride your monster, becoming one unit, unlocking even more powerful moves and finishers etc.
What? Is it not AAAA enough?
Nah, this is pretty par for the course for Geoff. He does not put on good shows. This show is proof that covid hit the industry much harder than we'd imagine. Same reason my expectations are low for Tuesday

people want that From Soft gameI'm surprised there's still 174k people watching the stream. The peak was at 186k and this is extremely boring.
the wait for Tuesday is going to be hell

Now that's what I'm here for.
