Probably not on the switch, on switch 2 definitely.

So at this point... couldn't you basically just recreate Super Mario 1-3, World, and all the New?
Not at all. Tons of features missing still, especially from the later games. And secret exits are a huge part of what makes Mario good.So at this point... couldn't you basically just recreate Super Mario 1-3, World, and all the New?
really? it's still 4/21. idve thought its about 12 hours away, at the earliest.Server maintenance will begin 30 minutes from now so the update should be released at that time too
Its the 22nd in Japanreally? it's still 4/21. idve thought its about 12 hours away, at the earliest.
uhhhhhhhh, alright.
The Japanese trailer said "4/22" and a good rule of thumb is to go one day earlier from whatever Nintendo Japan posts for the rest of the world.really? it's still 4/21. idve thought its about 12 hours away, at the earliest.
I played super Mario maker and loved it. I was surprised I only played it 30 hours.Lol fuck that's insane numbers, I thought it was a flop from the way you all talk about it

This website is full of armchair sales experts. Best to just ignore all discussion about stuff like that.Lol fuck that's insane numbers, I thought it was a flop from the way you all talk about it
No. Tons of stuff is still missing. Plus you'd be missing the original physics for those five games. So at this point... couldn't you basically just recreate Super Mario 1-3, World, and all the New?
Not even everything from SMB1 is present here. Platforms on pulleys, for example, are absent. You have to take several liberties in order to simulate maze castles, too.So at this point... couldn't you basically just recreate Super Mario 1-3, World, and all the New?
This just made me realize that I don't remember the 4-4 order anymore. I never knew 7-4 order at all but had 4-4 memorized for years. Not even everything from SMB1 is present here. Yes. Since the server is under maintenance, I don't know if you can actually upload more than one though.
It says you can only upload one but can keep 6. FYI the dessert and overworld theme has there SMB3 music for themYes. Since the server is under maintenance, I don't know if you can actually upload more than one though.
Things of note while quickly checking through the new items:
- SMB2 Toadette does use custom sprites.
- The Underground, Ghost House and Castle Themes use SMB2's Underground theme while you have the SMB2 Mushroom.
- Like the Master Sword, the SMB2 Mushroom also changes certain sound effects. Bonus = Character Select; Boss = Boss Theme (with a Birdo effect); Final Boss = Wart Theme (with a Wart effect).
- A new enemy wheel was added just for the Koopalings.
- Similarly, the masks have their own item wheel in the 3D World theme.
- They didn't change "Extra Game Styles" at all, if anyone was predicting that to be the case.
my first thought was that it sounds like something from earthbound but then I realized that makes no senseAlso I'm trying to pin what the music is for the Space world theme?
Oh no. People are going to start spamming them, aren't they?
Why do you want to watch the world burn?

Servers are down apparently, I can't wait to play all those strange worlds you twisted fellas are gonna create
Apparently you can't. Saw this on TwitterYes. Since the server is under maintenance, I don't know if you can actually upload more than one though.
Hey, with world's, now you can enter stages with the power up from the previous stages, right? Would be really cool to have alternate paths depending on the power up you got from the last level you gone through.
Just tested it, you can't do this. Levels always start you out as small Mario. This is probably due to the fact that the levels don't need to share game styles.Hey, with world's, now you can enter stages with the power up from the previous stages, right? They do. And you can set how many extra lives you start the Super World with (the default is thirty for some reason?).
Cool thank you! They do. And you can set how many extra lives you start the Super World with (the default is thirty for some reason?).
The default probably has multiplayer in mind, since you share a pool of lives. They do. And you can set how many extra lives you start the Super World with (the default is thirty for some reason?).
Yeah I mean I get that you set it to 30 but just have it default at 5 like Mario games do.They do. And you can set how many extra lives you start the Super World with (the default is thirty for some reason?).
5.04m units shipped as of 12/31/2019.
It is the 12th best seller on the Switch as of now.
Nice!
coins too thank you!1ups and coins carry over. You always start off as Small Mario though.

Super Mario Maker (Wii U)
4.01 million pcs.
Do you see why people are disappointed in the sales of Mario Maker 2? People thought it was limited by the Wii U and do tons better. It doesn't look like it was all that limited. The market for people wanting to make levels is a bit smaller than folks might like. Splatoon 2 has sold close to double the 1st one has already (~10M) as a comparison.
Nice!
This is really disappointing. I honestly like the game as an infinite supply of Mario levels, I don't really mess with the editor myself at all. I feel like they could be missing out on marketing to people like me somehow.Super Mario Maker (Wii U)
