Man sometimes this community is just so disconnected from reality. Given the circumstances I didn't think that an ... Andrew Cuomo hate thread would be the topic du jour, when you have about 45 other governor's handling this crisis much worse than him and he's handling it among the best in the country.
Outside of this I have no opinion on him because he's not my governor, I've never thought about him, but given that my state borders new York I'm glad he's taking it more seriously than about 80% of other governors in the country. His press conferences are generally the most informative, fact-based, accurate, and regular statements made by public officials in the US on the outbreak. Currently there is a vacuum of truth coming from Washington on this, woth Trump hosting spastic, self-congratulatory, bizarre press conferences with the My Pillow guy and probably Papa John next. It's a tremendous relief that there are elected officials who are putting science and facts first. Other governors have also done an admirable job, Inslee, Baker, some others, but the list is not long.
But the bubble is so crazy in this community sometimes. Also, im not "making Cuomo happen" and nobody else is. If Cuomo is carving out a national future in politics it's because he's doing an admirable job when so few others are.
