Something don't add up with this situation with some "oh he was hacked'...but I hope no one out here is getting abused or anything
Was it porn stolen from him or was it just random porn that claimed to be depicting someone in his life?
That's what makes this whole situation so damn weird. Like no people shouldn't immediately jump to "fuck him" but this was not a normal situation.

Supposedly it was his wife giving someone a blowjob, then the IG account started attacking Daniel Logan.
People then started claiming it was because his wife cheated on him with Logan. But none of that comes from any official source.
THEN the whole "abuser" IG posts from random accounts started popping up and overshadowed the video.
But Park's official IG account did upload the video and did attack Daniel Logan.
It's one big mess of a situation.
The fact that something completely out of left field came from Ray Park's instagram and was quickly followed up by extremely disturbing posts from random bot accounts should be a red flag to be concerned and to exercise critical thinking and patience, not cause to immediately condemn or claim to "knew it all along", grab pitchforks, or whatever other reflexive, unthinking, internet mob mentality response. The more suspect something is, the more concern, caution, critical thinking, and patience we should exercise. Again, it is 100% reasonable to be alarmed and concerned, it's unreasonable to instantly become judge, jury, executioner, and idiot all rolled into one.
I don't see drive by posting "fuck xxxx" to be the same as believing victims. The victim was barely talked about here.

To be fair this was a pretty convincing hoax, so in future we need to make sure that we all, and threads of this nature, double check their sources before we rush to condemn someone so much.
I mean, we should always believe the victims, but also be a bit slower to jump on the gas pedal when official accounts start posting random crazy and illegal stuff they obviously wouldn't normally post.
That's not to say we shouldn't condemn propel who do bad stuff. Just... I dunno what the answer is. Give them one chance to respond and explain. Then rip into them if their response is obviously shit. Or something.
And seperately, whether he did it or not, it's pretty sad how the first half of this thread was just saying "thank god for Sam Witwer." Like that's the point of concern here.

One thing I learned as an immigrant is that there are wonderful people who will help protect me from discrimination and made me feel loved and welcome here. Another thing I've learned is that there are people who want to use me as an excuse to bully someone while having moral high ground. It's the same thing. I've learned to accept that just because someone shares my politics it doesn't mean they are necessarily great people.

We never knew I it was Logan or not. After the video went up there was a post from Park's IG attacking Logan for "Wanting my wife". The video was deleted alongside all the comments.
Parks wife later said that the IG posts about abuse from their kids were completely false, and pleaded for people to said stop spreading falsehoods.

This is why I usually don't rush straight into these threads to pass judgement. Nothing is really gained by the dog pile and it certainly doesn't help the victim. If it becomes clear that the accusations are true then by all means have your say but rushing in doesn't achieve much.
I think the takeaway here is to provide at least two sources before rushing to create a thread with 'breaking' news about someone's potential fuckery.
I don't think anyone is wrong to be concerned and to want to hold people accountable for their actions, but I feel like that can be done without taking it over the top. That aside, it bothers me that more folks were immediately concerned about the casting situation first and foremost.
Had a feeling this was fake. It happening the day (or two?) After Maul got back into spotlight, made me feel like it was hackers jumping on the opportunity rather than him deciding to do blatant, abhorrent shit the second he got in the spotlight.

Quite current actually and the recent developments are sickening. Fine if you lot want to carry water for the guy whose texts talk about wanting to rape and murder his wife, admitted headbutting her on tape, audio threatening to hurt himself if she didn't comply with his wishes, lied about a self-inflicted injury to implicate someone else and so on but I won't. It's clear cut abusive behaviour. And don't dare "but she" and twist this as me carrying water for Heard as if it's a zero sum game here. They are both troubled individuals, Depp merely won the PR war. Last I checked he will still be reprising his role in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts sequel, a major franchise, people crying that his career was "cancelled" are delusional, most working actors can only dream of landing a gig like that.
Considering his wife turned out to be the abuser and she even cut his finger off I'd say he definitely is.
