Visually, it looks to be the best of Disney Plus. Straight up movie quality.

Yep, well up for this. Although I was a little lukewarm on Cassian the first time I watched Rogue One, it still remains the best film since Disney took over. This looks like it's going to be as grim as Rogue One was so can definitely count me in.

A lot of people want this stuff. There's plenty of other great TV that isn't Marvel and Star Wars going on right now. I don't see the issue.

Wouldn't be too out of place, considering the series usage of war iconography. Han's blaster looks like a Mauser C96, etc. Rebels using something that looks like an AK47? Sure, makes sense.
