Holy shit there are tricks?
Uhhh, I think I found ittttttttt!
New non-commentary B-Roll video for Marvel Spider-Man
So, confirmed suits:
- Classic (damaged and intact)
- Advanced
- Noir
- Infinity War's Iron Spider
- Homecoming
- Homecoming hoodie
- Velocity
- Spider-Punk
- Scarlet Spider
- Spider-Armor MkII
- Secret War
So, we know 12 of the 25 (that counting the DLC ones, without them just 9).
It's not minor to me. I'm bored of formulaic open world games and this seems to tick a lot of those boxes along with QTE's and batman style combat. I came into this thread hoping to read something that might change my mind like what happened with God of War (intitially I wasn't interested in it based on what I'd seen) but that's not been the case.
It's just a personal preference thing based on what I look for in games at the moment. If at some point down the line I'm in the mood for something like this then I'll get it.
hahaha, yeah, I always want more. can't help it. I'm glad that we actually have 25 costume already in the game. I hope it have Superior Spider-Man or Miles Spider-Man costume. That's still 22 costumes. Even just 20 is a lot when they're each unique and come with special abilities and passives.
Like it's cool to want a lot, but sounds like your expectations are just out of whack if you expected 30+ completely unique costumes.

outlets got 20 minutes of b-roll they can use in edited pieces
Yep, counted it twice!Classic and Damaged Classic each get a slot.
The three pre-order outfits don't seem to be a part of the 25 unlockable suits.
Yes, that's all.
Now read that quote again, it doesn't stop there. That's the difference between BOTW towers and archaic/Ubisoft towers.
laying through the first two hours of Marvel's Spider-Man reminded me of the first time I played Arkham Asylum or saw Guardians of the Galaxy in the cinema.
Yup on mobile lol
Is any of this actual gameplay
Can you say what did you feel about the towers since it seems there are some people who think having them in a game always means bad things, I mean it shouldn't even take long to climb since you're Spider-Man.Classic and Damaged Classic each get a slot.

We already know it willit sounds like a good number at first, but then you start listing costumes and you suddenly need more costume slot. Tom Holland Spider-Man alone already take 3 costume slot. dlc costumes please.
hopefully the story dlc will have unlockable costume too
My quote (from The Verge's preview btw) doesn't even address the towers thing. :|
Spider-Man is by no means the first open-world game to have this problem, either. But after titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took such big strides forward in giving players open worlds that felt alive, where a pair of warring robotic dinosaurs or a hidden temple guarded by a fierce mini-boss might be hiding just around the next corner, Spider-Man felt a little too old-school: go to the icon, activate the mission, repeat.

Stevenson came in the thread likeI just wanna say
-QTEs are very rare (Reiner's preview says he saw 2 in 4 hours)
-Combat is all about aerial combat, webs, using the environment and gadgets (most previews say it feels very different than Arkham)
-Formulaic --- everything in the open world is tied to story tidbits and info.
Bless you, kind sir.
Exactly! 25 is definitely a lot, but Spidey's got such a long list of alternate costumes that it becomes hard to just pick 25 you want. There are also original suits in the game, so that makes the list even shorter... Hopefully, there's actually still more than 25.it sounds like a good number at first, but then you start listing costumes and you suddenly need more costume slot. I see, thanks, shouldn't be an issue.I mean, you don't have to climb them or anything. Most of them are just on the rooftops. You swing by, land, do the little frequency-matching mini-game, and the tower clears the fog of war in the area. Takes like 30 seconds tops.
Wait, characters as in plural? AND more costumes?? God this game is too much. Might be the first time I actively avoid spoilers on this game because this much hype is going to give me a heard attack. We already know it will
"Upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition and play the post-launch story chapters in The City that Never Sleeps, once available – featuring new missions, characters and suits."
Of course not. Come on. Unless there's QTEs with the prompts removed.

Niiice I like what I'm hearing about QTEsI just wanna say

I think by characters they simply meant new characters in the story... At least that's what I say to not hype myself up too much.Wait, characters as in plural? AND more costumes?? God this game is too much. Might be the first time I actively avoid spoilers on this game because this much hype is going to give me a heard attack.
Did you even read or watch any of these previews?
