I'm leaning sale due to business and backlog. I really need to put together a list for this year's switch releases and organize it out.
Please share this list, lol. Too many games this year! :)

no don't
Agree with above poster, do not play UDG. I LOVE Danganronpa but the existence of UDG makes me a bit wary of Rain Code cause it shows Kodaka is capable of putting out some real garbage.
Damn, I'm not a fan of same day reviews, normally not a good sign.

UDG isn't relevant to V3 in any way. They might have meant the DR3 anime.Lol
Iirc, UDG is why I never played V3. Consensus at the time was that it was bad, but some were saying that you should really play it before V3 and I just kind of noped out.
Ooh, that's good to know. So should I watch the anime before playing V3?UDG isn't relevant to V3 in any way. They might have meant the DR3 anime.
Nah, I meant that UDG is relevant to the anime, not that the anime is relevant to V3. If you want a conclusion to the overall story from DR1 and 2 then you can watch it, but it's generally not considered all that good. You can go into V3 with only a vague recollection of the first two games and be just fine.Ooh, that's good to know. So should I watch the anime before playing V3?
V3 is as close to an independent game to the previous titles as it could possibly be while also being a sequel.Ooh, that's good to know. So should I watch the anime before playing V3?

Roger that - thanks. Maybe I'll watch a recap of 1&2 at least.V3 is as close to an independent game to the previous titles as it could possibly be while also being a sequel.
Its great you owe it to yourself to play it.
With how little we know…
V3 is in the interesting position of being a superb conclusion to the franchise while also requiring only the vaguest of recollections of what happened in previous games. It walks an impressively fine tightrope to accomplish that, honestly.I'm simultaneously hyped and meh.
However, this thread is really making me want to finally play Danganronpa V3. Which would entail playing 1 & 2 again (and possibly UDG for the first time), as I remember very little of the story.
Looking good so far! Very interested to see how this lands once a grip of reviews are out.Reviews are hitting!

That would surprise me because Spike Chunsoft put out a statement that the special editions were delayed until July 14th because of a customs delay with the plushie.Amazon once again failing with the release day delivery, Special Edition will arrive the 5th

Okay, I might actually bite. According to the reviews, there's a lot of VA. Anyone know if there's Japanese audio?
Thank you!
