Thanks for the recommendation! I had a Genesis as a kid but no SNES so all of this aside from Zelda, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island are new to me.Yoshi's Island & Kirby's Dream Course would be my recommendations. It's a nice selection, all-in-all.
There's a run button that you hold down ala Mario.
It's not speed booster fast, but it'll get you across that breakaway bridge.
Thank you very much! I can't believe I missed the run button. So stupid of me. LMAO.There's a run button that you hold down ala Mario.

To be fair, Super Metroid's default button-mapping is pretty garbo. And give you an intense feeling of stupidity in the process. It's normal. Don't worry. We've all been there.
Wave beam or power bomb?Guys, I need help. I think I'm stuck in Super Metroid. Please see images below.
I remember you need the dash powerup, which I don't have yet, in order to proceed in the second image. But when I return to the way I came from, first image, the gate is closed and I just can't seem to open it. Is there something I should be doing?
Thanks.
They have the exact same functionality regarding saves as if you were playing them on an actual SNES along with the addition of save states.Sorry if this is a dumb question but do these games have an overall save? Or do you have to always use the save state?
The Switch Online page doesn't say "Coming Soon" anymore next to the SNES Controller but I'm still not finding a buy page anywhere.
Edit: Ah, still says Coming Soon here
Did you review the controls before starting the mission?I've never played Pilotwings SNES before. This seems like the sort of thing that I would have been crazy into back in the 90s but I can't figure it out now.
Jump for a skydive -> can't figure out how to move -> just do aerial somersaults -> trying to figure it out and miss the prompt to open my chute -> SPLAT -> "You did this on purpose didn't you"
Just ordered mine. (US Region)

Wait... It says that my address/Postal Code/Province combo is invalid.... They better not be one of those "We don'T ship to Quebec cause the box is not in French"Just got mine. I had to change it to the .ca address to order from Canada.

Ordered mine! An official future-proofed (USB-C) wireless SNES controller is all I've ever wanted.
Nah I managed to get it... It's even stupidier than that...
Question - do they add new games to this feature? I haven't really used NES thingy on Switch but I was wondering if there's a chance FF6 will be available...
I mean yes they will be adding more games to both the nes and Snes ap on a regular basis(although we don't Know when)Question - do they add new games to this feature? I haven't really used NES thingy on Switch but I was wondering if there's a chance FF6 will be available...
Actually Nintendo says regularly on their official site just not monthly for both. I'm kinda expecting monthly updates for Snes till December while nes gets pushed to the back burner for a whileYes, but the updates will be "irregular" according to Nintendo.
Don't feel bad. Everyone gets stuck here. I still remember having no idea what to do in that spot 20 years ago.Thank you very much! I can't believe I missed the run button. So stupid of me. LMAO.
Glad you like it! Just an FYI: in the NES app, the B button is also mapped to X. Using X and A make playing these games much more comfortable!
Thank you, it's been answered above and, believe it or not, the answer is to just use the run button to run across the upper platform in the second image. LOL.
